TP-Link Festa F54 AC1750 Wireless MU-MIMO Gigabit Ceiling Mount WiFi 5 Access Point
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link AC1750 Wireless MU-MIMO Gigabit Ceiling Mount WiFi 5 Access Point (Festa F54) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The Festa F54 is the Wi-Fi 5 workhorse of TP-Link's Festa line: an AC1750 three-stream ceiling access point with two Gigabit ports, powered by 802.3af PoE and managed from the free Festa cloud. It is the practical choice where the client mix is still largely Wi-Fi 5 and the budget matters more than headline Wi-Fi 6 numbers.
AC1750 With Three Streams on Both Bands
The F54 delivers 1300 Mbps on 5 GHz and 450 Mbps on 2.4 GHz over IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. Both radios are three-stream: 3x3 SU-MIMO on 2.4 GHz and 3x3 MU-MIMO downlink on 5 GHz. Three streams matter more than the headline number in a busy room, because MU-MIMO lets the access point talk to several capable clients at once rather than serving them in turn, which is what keeps throughput steady as the client count climbs.
Rated for 220+ Concurrent Clients Over 140 m2
TP-Link rates the F54 at 220+ concurrent clients and publishes a coverage figure of 140 m2 (1500 ft2). Both come with published caveats: actual capacity depends on the wireless environment and client traffic and is generally lower than the maximum association count, and the coverage value is calculated from laboratory testing rather than a survey of your site. Use them as a planning figure and we will help you check the AP count against the floor plan.
Two Gigabit Ports and a PoE Adapter in the Box
The F54 has two Gigabit Ethernet ports, which is unusual at this price and useful where you want to pass a wired connection through to a nearby device. Power comes from 802.3af PoE or 48 V passive PoE (+4,5 pins; -7,8 pins), and TP-Link ships a PoE adapter and power cord in the box, so the access point can go in before any PoE switch does. Maximum draw is 12.3 W. Mounting is ceiling or wall with the supplied kits.
Festa Cloud, the Festa App and Zero-Touch Provisioning
Management runs through the Festa platform: centralised management, free cloud access, the Festa App for iOS and Android, and zero-touch provisioning so units can be claimed before they reach site. SNMP v1 and v2c, local and remote syslog, SSH, NTP and LED on/off control are supported. TP-Link states that Festa cloud access is free today and that it reserves the right to apply fees in future, which is worth noting on a multi-year plan.
Captive Portal, 802.1X and Sixteen SSIDs
The F54 supports captive portal authentication, WPA- and WPA2-Personal and Enterprise, 802.1X, VLANs, wireless client isolation and a MAC filter of up to 4,000 entries. Sixteen SSIDs are available, eight per band, with per-SSID or per-client rate limiting and a guest network mode. Mesh, seamless roaming, beamforming, automatic channel selection, band steering, load balancing, airtime fairness and wireless statistics complete the feature set.
Ideal For
Singapore retail units, cafes, small offices, tuition centres and serviced apartments that need reliable managed ceiling Wi-Fi for a mostly Wi-Fi 5 client base, with guest portals and central management but no controller hardware. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and project pricing on request.

TP-Link publishes no EAN, UPC or system-requirements row for this model on its Singapore product page, so none is claimed here. The F54 specification lists Seamless Roaming without naming 802.11 k/v/r, and does not list WPA3, a Self-Organizing Network feature or SNMP v3, so none of those is claimed. Only a single maximum power consumption figure is published for this model.
Compatibility & Software Support
The Festa F54 belongs to TP-Link's Festa line, which is managed by the Festa cloud-based controller and the Festa App. Festa is a separate platform from Omada: a Festa access point cannot be adopted into an Omada Software, Hardware or Cloud Controller, and Omada devices cannot be managed from Festa. Plan the site on one platform or the other.
| Festa Cloud Controller | Supported - centralised management of Festa APs, switches and gateways from one dashboard |
| Festa App | Supported - iOS and Android |
| Cloud Access | Free cloud access. TP-Link states it reserves the right to apply fees in future |
| Zero-Touch Provisioning | Supported |
| Omada SDN Controller | Not supported - Festa devices are not Omada-adoptable |
| Standalone Mode | Supported - the access point can be configured on its own |

Frequently Asked Questions — Festa F54
Does the Festa F54 support WPA3?
TP-Link's published specification for the F54 lists WPA- and WPA2-Personal and Enterprise with 802.1X, and does not list WPA3. If WPA3 is a requirement, look at the Wi-Fi 6 models in the range, the Festa F61 and F65, whose specifications do list it.
Do I need a PoE switch to install it?
No. TP-Link includes a PoE adapter and power cord, so the F54 can be installed before any PoE switching is in place. Where you do have an 802.3af switch port, one cable carries both data and power.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Three years local Singapore warranty. Every Festa F54 sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.
Can SourceIT quote this for a project or tender?
Yes. Send us the floor plan or bill of materials and we will size the access point count and quote the whole Festa build - gateway, switching and access points - with local warranty and support.
