TP-Link 5G AX1500 Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit Router (Archer NX205) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The Archer NX205 is TP-Link's entry 5G SIM router: headline 5G download up to 2.9 Gbps, AX1500 dual-band Wi-Fi 6 at 1201 Mbps on 5 GHz and 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, a Gigabit LAN/WAN port plus two Gigabit LAN ports, two SMA-F external antenna interfaces and EasyMesh compatibility. Six internal 5G/LTE antennas and WAN failover round it out.
5G up to 2.9 Gbps
TP-Link headlines the NX205 at up to 2.9 Gbps 5G download, covering 5G N1/N3/N5/N7/N8/N20/N28/N38/N40/N41/N77/N78, FDD-LTE B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28/B32, TDD-LTE B38/B40/B41/B42/B43 and 3G B1/B5/B8. Insert an activated SIM and it connects without further configuration; real speed depends on coverage and data plan.
AX1500 Wi-Fi 6 for Everyday Loads
1201 Mbps on 5 GHz plus 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz from two internal Wi-Fi antennas is sized for a flat or small office rather than a large multi-storey space. WPA3 is supported alongside WPA/WPA2, with a guest network on each band.
External Antenna Interfaces
Two external SMA-F antenna interfaces take optional antennas where indoor 5G reception is marginal; six internal 5G/LTE antennas handle normal use. Antennas are not included.
Failover, QoS and EasyMesh
The Gigabit LAN/WAN port lets the NX205 run on fibre, cable or DSL with WAN failover to 5G. QoS prioritises traffic by device or application, parental controls and domain filtering are built in, and EasyMesh compatibility lets it join a mesh with other EasyMesh devices.

Is the NX205 fast enough for a small office?
For a handful of users, yes — AX1500 Wi-Fi 6 and three Gigabit ports. Larger or busier offices would suit the AX3000 NX500 or NX505 better.
Does it support WPA3?
Yes. TP-Link lists WPA3 alongside WEP, WPA/WPA2 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK.
Can I add external antennas?
