TP-Link 5G AX3000 Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit Router (Archer NX505) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The Archer NX505 turns a Nano SIM into a home or office connection: 5G download up to 6.47 Gbps and upload up to 1.25 Gbps, 4G LTE Cat19 fallback at 2 Gbps, and AX3000 dual-band Wi-Fi 6 at 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz plus 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. It adds two Gigabit LAN ports, a Gigabit WAN/LAN port for fixed-line use or backup, two TS-9 ports for external 5G/4G antennas, WPA3 and EasyMesh compatibility.
5G up to 6.47 Gbps with Cat19 Fallback
TP-Link rates the NX505 at 6.47 Gbps 5G download and 1.25 Gbps upload, dropping to 4G LTE Cat19 at 2 Gbps download and 211 Mbps upload where 5G is unavailable. Band support spans 5G N1/N3/N5/N7/N8/N20/N28/N38/N40/N41/N71/N75/N76/N77/N78 plus FDD and TDD LTE and 3G. Real speeds depend on local coverage, the data plan and network load.
AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 from Internal Antennas
Three internal Wi-Fi antennas deliver 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz under 802.11ax, with WPA3 encryption and one guest network per band. Six internal NR/LTE antennas handle the cellular side, and the upright 99 x 99 x 190 mm body keeps the footprint small.
External Antenna Ports for Weak-Signal Sites
Two TS-9 ports accept external 5G/4G antennas — useful in HDB corner units, shophouse back rooms or industrial units where indoor 5G signal is marginal. Antennas are not included.
Gigabit WAN Backup and EasyMesh
The Gigabit WAN/LAN port lets the NX505 act as a conventional wireless router on fibre or cable, with 5G/LTE as backup. It is EasyMesh-compatible, so it can form a mesh with other EasyMesh devices — TP-Link notes cross-vendor firmware differences can cause failed connections. Setup is via the web interface or the Tether app.

What is the difference from the Archer NX500?
Both are AX3000 5G routers in the same form factor. TP-Link rates the NX505 higher on 5G download (6.47 Gbps vs 4.67 Gbps), lists WPA3 and uses TS-9 external antenna ports where the NX500 uses SMA-F.
Can I use it with my fibre line?
Yes. The Gigabit WAN/LAN port lets it work as a normal wireless router, with 5G/LTE as backup.
Are external antennas included?
No. The two TS-9 ports accept optional 5G/4G external antennas.
