TP-Link Archer TX20U Nano AX1800 Nano Wi-Fi 6 Wireless USB Adapter
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link AX1800 Nano Wi-Fi 6 Wireless USB Adapter (Archer TX20U Nano) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The Archer TX20U Nano is TP-Link's nano-format Wi-Fi 6 adapter, measuring 26.8 x 15.7 x 7.5 mm with two dual-band antennas and a status LED. It adds 802.11ax and WPA3 to a Windows notebook or desktop in a body short enough to leave permanently installed, rated at up to 1201 Mbps on 5 GHz and up to 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz.
Wi-Fi 6 in a Nano Body
Most Wi-Fi 6 adapters are long, antenna-bearing devices that have to be removed before a laptop goes into a bag. This one does not. TP-Link publishes 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax support with two dual-band antennas inside a 26.8 x 15.7 x 7.5 mm body, which is the whole reason to choose this model. It is the fit-and-forget route to 802.11ax on an existing Windows machine, and it stays flush enough to live permanently in a laptop port or a dock.
Published Rates and WPA3
TP-Link publishes up to 1201 Mbps (dynamic) at 5 GHz under 802.11ax and up to 574 Mbps (dynamic) at 2.4 GHz, with 867 Mbps 11ac and 400 Mbps 11n fallbacks. Security is published as WEP, WPA/WPA2/WPA3 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK, so WPA3 networks are supported. Transmission power is published as 5 GHz: 10 dBm (FCC) and 2.4 GHz: 10 dBm (FCC). Published signal rates are physical-layer maximums, not throughput.
One Published Figure Worth Understanding
TP-Link publishes Interface: USB 2.0 for this model while also publishing an 802.11ax rate of up to 1201 Mbps. A USB 2.0 host connection cannot carry 1201 Mbps, and TP-Link publishes both figures side by side without qualification.
Windows Only
Published system requirements for this model are Windows 10 and 11, and drivers are published for Windows 10 32-bit/64-bit and Windows 11 64-bit against hardware version V1. We do not list macOS support for this adapter. TP-Link's own footnote also applies: use of Wi-Fi 6 and other features, including OFDMA and MU-MIMO, requires your access points to also support the corresponding features, so the headline rates assume a Wi-Fi 6 router at the other end.
Ideal For
Singapore notebook users on Windows who want 802.11ax and WPA3 without a protruding dongle, and hot-desking or docking setups where an adapter must stay in the port. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and volume pricing on request.

Frequently Asked Questions — Archer TX20U Nano
Will it really reach 1201 Mbps?
That is TP-Link's published physical-layer figure for 802.11ax at 5 GHz. The same specifications publish a USB 2.0 interface, and real throughput also depends on the access point, the channel and the environment. We reproduce both figures as published.
Does it work on a Mac?
Published system requirements for this model are Windows 10 and 11. We do not list macOS support for this adapter.
Does it support WPA3?
Yes. The published security row lists WEP, WPA/WPA2/WPA3 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK.
Do I need a Wi-Fi 6 router?
To reach the 802.11ax rates, yes. TP-Link states that use of Wi-Fi 6 and other features, including OFDMA and MU-MIMO, requires your access points to also support the corresponding features. On an older router the adapter still connects at 802.11ac or 802.11n rates.
What warranty applies in Singapore?
3 Years Local Warranty (Singapore). TP-Link Singapore's replacement-warranty policy states a three-year default and does not list USB wireless adapters among its exception categories.
Can SourceIT quote quantity?
Yes. Send the quantity and we will quote with local warranty, GST invoice and delivery in Singapore.
