TP-Link Archer C24 AC750 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link AC750 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router (Archer C24) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The Archer C24 is the entry point of TP-Link's Archer line: AC750 dual-band Wi-Fi at 433 Mbps on 5 GHz and 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, four fixed antennas, and 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports in a 115 mm body. It runs in Router, Access Point or Range Extender mode, which makes it as useful as a second-room extender as it is as a primary router.
AC750 Dual-Band Wi-Fi for a Small Flat
TP-Link rates the C24 at 433 Mbps on 5 GHz using 802.11ac and 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz using 802.11n, and rates its coverage at two-bedroom houses. That is enough for browsing, video calls and HD streaming on a handful of devices. It is not the model for a household on a 1 Gbps plan wanting to use all of it — the Archer C64 or C80 publish full Gigabit ports and higher wireless rates for that.
10/100 Mbps Ethernet — Check This Before Ordering
The C24's wired ports are one 10/100 Mbps WAN port and four 10/100 Mbps LAN ports. Wired throughput is therefore capped at 100 Mbps, and so is the internet connection reaching the router, whatever the fibre plan behind it. This is the single most important specification on the page and the one most often mistaken for Gigabit. If you need Gigabit wired ports, choose the Archer C64, C80 or any of the AX models.
Three Working Modes Including Range Extender
Router, Access Point and Range Extender modes are all published for this model, which makes it flexible: it can be the main router in a small flat, a wireless access point behind an ISP gateway, or a repeater for an existing network in a back bedroom. A single-core CPU drives it, power is 9 V DC, 0.6 A, and the chassis measures 115 × 106.7 × 24.3 mm.
Encryption: WEP, WPA and WPA2 — No WPA3
TP-Link's published encryption list for the Archer C24 is WEP, WPA, WPA2 and WPA/WPA2-Enterprise with 802.1x. WPA3 is not on that list, which matters if your devices or IT policy require it. Network security covers an SPI firewall, access control, IP and MAC binding and an application layer gateway, with guest networks on both bands. Parental controls are URL filtering and time controls.
No Mesh and No Cloud Service Row
TP-Link publishes neither a OneMesh nor an EasyMesh row for the Archer C24, so it cannot be joined into a TP-Link mesh — its Range Extender mode is the alternative. It also publishes no cloud service row, and its DDNS providers are NO-IP and DynDNS only, without TP-Link's own service. Its certification row lists FCC while the transmission-power row quotes only CE limits; both are reproduced here as published, and no USB port or VPN server is listed for this model.
Ideal For
Small Singapore flats, studio rooms, rental units and second-room repeater duty where a 100 Mbps wired ceiling is acceptable and a compact, inexpensive dual-band router is what is wanted. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty and GST invoice.
