TP-Link Archer NX200 5G AX1800 Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit Router
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link 5G AX1800 Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit Router (Archer NX200) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The Archer NX200 is a standalone 5G router: put a micro SIM in it and it delivers AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 — 1201 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz — with three Gigabit Ethernet ports and WAN failover, in an upright 190 mm tower. It suits a Singapore home, shop or site office where fibre is not available, not yet installed, or needs a backup path.
5G NR and 4G LTE in One Box
The NX200 has a built-in cellular modem and a micro SIM card slot, so no separate dongle or mobile hotspot is needed. TP-Link publishes support for 5G bands N1, N3, N5, N7, N8, N20, N28, N38, N40, N41, N77 and N78, FDD-LTE bands B1, B3, B5, B7, B8, B20, B28 and B32, TDD-LTE bands B38, B40, B41, B42 and B43, and DC-HSDPA, HSPA+, HSPA and UMTS on B1, B5 and B8. TP-Link's headline figure for this model is 5G "download speeds up to 4.67 Gbps" — a peak modem rate, not a guaranteed one. That covers the bands Singapore operators use, though you should confirm your plan's data allowance and any hotspot restrictions with your telco.
AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 on Both Bands
Wireless is rated 1201 Mbps at 5 GHz and 574 Mbps at 2.4 GHz using 802.11ax, so the Wi-Fi side is a full AX1800 router rather than an afterthought bolted onto a modem. Wireless functions published include enable/disable radio, wireless scheduling, WMM and wireless statistics, with a guest network on each band.
Three Gigabit Ports and WAN Failover
The wired side is one 10/100/1000 Mbps LAN/WAN combo port plus two 10/100/1000 Mbps LAN ports — three ports in total. The combo port lets the NX200 take a wired internet feed and keep the cellular connection as a backup, and TP-Link publishes WAN Failover explicitly, which is the feature that makes this router useful as a resilience device beside an existing fibre line rather than only as a replacement for one.
Antennas and Form Factor
TP-Link publishes eight 5G/LTE antennas and, separately, two external 5G/4G antenna ports for fitting higher-gain antennas where signal is weak — worth knowing if the unit will sit in a basement or an interior room. The chassis is an upright 99 × 99 × 190 mm tower, so it stands rather than lies flat. Buttons are WPS, reset and power on/off. Power is a 12 V DC, 1.5 A adapter from a 100–240 V input.
Security, VPN and Management
Security covers DoS protection, an IPv4 SPI firewall, an IPv6 firewall, IP and MAC address binding, access control, and IP and domain filtering. VPN support is PPTP, IPSec and OpenVPN. QoS prioritises traffic by device or application, and management is through TP-Link Cloud, local management or remote management, with DDNS through TP-Link, DynDns or NO-IP. TP-Link's published wireless security for this model is 64/128-bit WEP, WPA/WPA2 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK; WPA3 is not listed, and no claim is made for it here. No mesh capability is claimed for this model.
Ideal For
Singapore homes, shops, showrooms, site offices and event setups that need internet without a fibre line, and businesses wanting a 5G failover path beside an existing connection. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty and GST invoice.

Frequently Asked Questions — Archer NX200
Does it come with a SIM card or data plan?
No. The NX200 takes a micro SIM with an active mobile data plan from your chosen Singapore operator. Check the plan's data allowance and whether it permits use in a router before ordering.
How fast is the 5G connection?
TP-Link's headline figure for this model is 5G "download speeds up to 4.67 Gbps". That is a peak rate for the modem, not a guaranteed one — what you actually get depends on your operator's network, your plan and the signal at the installation point.
How many Ethernet ports does it have?
Three: one 10/100/1000 Mbps LAN/WAN combo port and two 10/100/1000 Mbps LAN ports. The combo port lets you feed a wired internet connection in and keep 5G as failover.
Can it be used as a backup for our fibre line?
Yes — TP-Link publishes WAN Failover for this model, so it can hold a cellular connection in reserve behind a wired feed. Talk to us about the arrangement for your site.
Does it support WPA3?
TP-Link's published wireless security for the NX200 is 64/128-bit WEP, WPA/WPA2 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK. WPA3 is not listed for this model.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Three years local Singapore warranty, under TP-Link's published replacement warranty terms. Every unit is supplied with a GST invoice.
