PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

TP-Link AX3000 Wall Plate WiFi 6 Access Point (Festa F65-Wall) - 3 Years Local Warranty

The Festa F65-Wall is an AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 access point built into a wall plate, with three wired ports on its face and one of them delivering PoE out. It is the in-room answer for hotels, serviced apartments, dormitories and clinics, where each room needs its own access point plus a wired drop or two and there is no ceiling to mount to.

AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 From a Wall Plate

The F65-Wall delivers up to 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz and up to 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz over IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, using two dual-band antennas in 2x2 SU-MIMO. HE160 is supported on 5 GHz, doubling the channel width against a standard 80 MHz access point for clients that can use it. TP-Link notes that OFDMA, HE160 and 1024-QAM require matching client support, and that 160 MHz operation may be restricted in some markets.

Three Downlink Ports, One of Them PoE Out

This is the feature that separates the F65-Wall from a ceiling AP. The uplink is one Gigabit port with PoE in; on the face are one Gigabit PoE-out port and two more Gigabit RJ45 ports. That means a single cable to the room can power the access point and, in turn, power a desk phone or a small camera from the PoE-out port, while a TV and a workstation take the other two. Buttons are reset and LED.

Rated for 120+ Concurrent Clients Over 50 m2

TP-Link rates the F65-Wall at 120+ concurrent clients and publishes a coverage figure of 50 m2 (600 ft2), which reflects its in-room role rather than an open-plan one. Both figures carry published caveats: actual capacity depends on the wireless environment and client traffic and is generally lower than the maximum association count, and the coverage value is calculated from laboratory testing. Plan one unit per room rather than one per floor.

PoE Only, So Check the Switch Budget

Power is 802.3af/at PoE and nothing else: TP-Link publishes no DC input and no power adapter in the box, so a PoE switch or injector is required. Maximum draw is 12 W with PoE out switched off on the EU model, and more once a device is drawing from the PoE-out port, so size the switch budget for the downstream load as well. The unit is 143 x 86 x 42.4 mm, weighs 284.6 g, and mounts to a wall plate with the supplied kit.

Festa Cloud With L3, Multi-Site and Management VLAN

Management runs through the Festa platform: centralised management, free cloud access, the Festa App, zero-touch provisioning, and web management over HTTP or HTTPS. The F65-Wall publishes a fuller management set than the ceiling models, adding email alerts, management MAC access control, management VLAN, L3 management and multi-site management, alongside SNMP v1/v2c/v3, local and remote syslog, SSH and LED on/off control. TP-Link states that Festa cloud access is free today and that it reserves the right to apply fees in future.

Ideal For

Singapore hotels, serviced apartments, student accommodation, co-living operators, clinics and any fit-out where each room needs its own access point plus wired ports, delivered on one cable. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and project pricing on request.

TP-Link publishes no EAN or UPC for this model on its Singapore product page, so none is claimed here. The F65-Wall specification lists 2x2 SU-MIMO and does not list Mesh or MU-MIMO, so neither is claimed. No DC power input and no NTP row are published for this model. Maximum power consumption is published for the EU and US models only, both measured with PoE Out switched off.

Compatibility & Software Support

The Festa F65-Wall belongs to TP-Link's Festa line, which is managed by the Festa cloud-based controller and the Festa App. Festa is a separate platform from Omada: a Festa access point cannot be adopted into an Omada Software, Hardware or Cloud Controller, and Omada devices cannot be managed from Festa. Plan the site on one platform or the other.

Festa Cloud Controller Supported - centralised management of Festa APs, switches and gateways from one dashboard
Festa App Supported - iOS and Android
Cloud Access Free cloud access. TP-Link states it reserves the right to apply fees in future
Zero-Touch Provisioning Supported
Omada SDN Controller Not supported - Festa devices are not Omada-adoptable
Standalone Mode Supported - web-based management over HTTP or HTTPS

Frequently Asked Questions — Festa F65-Wall

Does the F65-Wall come with a power adapter?

No. TP-Link publishes only 802.3af/at PoE for this model and lists no power adapter in the box, so you will need a PoE switch port or an injector. Ask us to quote a Festa PoE switch alongside it if you do not already have one.

What can I plug into the PoE Out port?

Any 802.3af/at powered device within the remaining budget - typically a desk phone, a small IP camera or a door intercom. Remember that whatever the PoE-out port supplies is drawn through the same uplink cable, so size the upstream switch port accordingly.

What warranty does SourceIT provide?

Three years local Singapore warranty. Every Festa F65-Wall sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.

Can SourceIT quote this for a project or tender?

Yes. Send us the room count or bill of materials and we will quote the whole Festa build - gateway, PoE switching and in-room access points - with local warranty and support.
