TP-Link Festa F52 AC1350 Wireless MU-MIMO Gigabit Ceiling Mount WiFi 5 Access Point
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link AC1350 Wireless MU-MIMO Gigabit Ceiling Mount WiFi 5 Access Point (Festa F52) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The Festa F52 is the entry model in TP-Link's Festa ceiling range: an AC1350 dual-band Wi-Fi 5 access point powered by 802.3af PoE and managed from the free Festa cloud. It brings captive portals, VLANs and central management to a small site at the lowest price in the family, with a PoE adapter supplied so it can go in before any PoE switching does.
AC1350 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 5
The F52 delivers 867 Mbps on 5 GHz and 450 Mbps on 2.4 GHz over IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. The 2.4 GHz radio is three-stream (3x3 SU-MIMO) and the 5 GHz radio is two-stream with MU-MIMO downlink, so several capable clients can be served in the same airtime rather than queued one behind the other. Band steering moves dual-band devices onto 5 GHz automatically, which leaves the crowded 2.4 GHz band for the devices that need it.
Rated for 220+ Concurrent Clients Over 115 m2
TP-Link rates the F52 at 220+ concurrent clients and publishes a coverage figure of 115 m2 (1250 ft2). Both figures carry published caveats: actual capacity depends on the wireless environment and client traffic and is generally lower than the maximum association count, and the coverage value comes from laboratory testing rather than a survey of your site. Use them as a starting point for AP count and let us sanity-check the number against your floor plan.
802.3af PoE With a PoE Adapter in the Box
Power comes from 802.3af PoE or 24 V passive PoE (+4,5 pins; -7,8 pins), and TP-Link supplies a PoE adapter and power cord, so a site with no PoE switch can still run the access point from an ordinary socket at the other end of the cable. Maximum draw is 12.6 W. There is one Gigabit Ethernet port and a reset button, and the unit mounts to a ceiling or a wall with the included kits.
Festa Cloud, the Festa App and Zero-Touch Provisioning
Management runs through the Festa platform: centralised management, free cloud access, the Festa App for iOS and Android, and zero-touch provisioning so units can be claimed before they ship to site. SNMP v1 and v2c, local and remote syslog, SSH, NTP and LED on/off control are supported. TP-Link states that Festa cloud access is free today and that it reserves the right to apply fees in future.
Captive Portal, 802.1X and Sixteen SSIDs
The F52 supports captive portal authentication, WPA- and WPA2-Personal and Enterprise, 802.1X, VLANs, wireless client isolation and a MAC filter of up to 4,000 entries. Sixteen SSIDs are available, eight per band, with per-SSID or per-client rate limiting and a guest network mode. Mesh, seamless roaming, beamforming, automatic channel selection, load balancing, airtime fairness and wireless statistics round out the feature set.
Ideal For
Singapore cafes, salons, small retail units, clinics and home offices that want managed Wi-Fi with a guest portal on a tight budget, and sites adding a few APs to an existing Festa deployment. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and project pricing on request.

Compatibility & Software Support
The Festa F52 belongs to TP-Link's Festa line, which is managed by the Festa cloud-based controller and the Festa App. Festa is a separate platform from Omada: a Festa access point cannot be adopted into an Omada Software, Hardware or Cloud Controller, and Omada devices cannot be managed from Festa. Plan the site on one platform or the other.
| Festa Cloud Controller | Supported - centralised management of Festa APs, switches and gateways from one dashboard |
| Festa App | Supported - iOS and Android |
| Cloud Access | Free cloud access. TP-Link states it reserves the right to apply fees in future |
| Zero-Touch Provisioning | Supported |
| Omada SDN Controller | Not supported - Festa devices are not Omada-adoptable |
| Standalone Mode | Supported - the access point can be configured on its own |

Frequently Asked Questions — Festa F52
How does the Festa F52 differ from the Festa F54?
The F54 is AC1750 with 1300 Mbps on 5 GHz, three 5 GHz streams and two Gigabit ports. The F52 is AC1350 with 867 Mbps on 5 GHz, two 5 GHz streams and one Gigabit port. Both are Wi-Fi 5, both ship with a PoE adapter, and both are managed from the same Festa cloud. Pick the F54 where 5 GHz density is the constraint.
Do I need a PoE switch to install it?
No. TP-Link includes a PoE adapter and power cord. Where an 802.3af switch port is available, one cable carries both data and power.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Three years local Singapore warranty. Every Festa F52 sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.
Can SourceIT quote this for a project or tender?
Yes. Send us the floor plan or bill of materials and we will size the access point count and quote the whole Festa build - gateway, switching and access points - with local warranty and support.
