The Targus DOCK460USZ-50 turns a single USB4 cable into a full desk setup. Connect it once and the dock drives up to three external displays, moves data over USB4's 40Gbps link, charges the host notebook at up to 100W, and adds wired 2.5G networking - all from a compact unit that sits flat on a desk or mounts to the back of a monitor. For an IT team rolling out hot-desking or hybrid-work stations, that single-cable connect/disconnect is the whole point: staff plug in once and everything comes up together.
Triple Video Without Juggling Adapters
Video output is 1x HDMI 2.1 plus 2x DisplayPort 1.4, and how many screens you get depends on the host. Over a genuine USB4 connection the dock supports a single display at up to 8K/60Hz, two displays at up to 8K/30Hz, or three displays at up to 4K/60Hz. Connected to a USB-C host running DisplayPort Alt Mode instead of full USB4, the ceiling drops to single 8K/30Hz, dual 4K/60Hz or triple 4K/30Hz. Either way, the days of carrying separate HDMI and DisplayPort dongles for different meeting rooms are over.
Built for the Way IT Actually Deploys Docks
Five USB ports (a mix of USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C and Type-A, one Type-A with fast charging), 2.5G Ethernet for wired connections that outrun typical office Wi-Fi, a 3.5mm audio combo jack, and an integrated Kensington lock slot for securing the dock itself at a shared desk. The dock's host cable is a screw-in 1m USB4 lead, so it will not work loose from vibration under a standing desk, and it is compatible with USB4, Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4 notebooks. A Targus VESA Mounting Bracket (ACX003GLZ, sold separately) lets you fix the dock to the back of a monitor and keep the desk clear.

Compatibility
Host connection. The DOCK460USZ-50 connects over USB4 and is backward compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4 notebooks, and with USB-C laptops running DisplayPort Alt Mode (at reduced multi-monitor resolutions as noted in the spec table above).
Operating systems. Supports Windows, macOS, Android, Chrome OS and Ubuntu Linux hosts. Actual display and charging behaviour depends on the host's own USB4/Thunderbolt and USB-C Power Delivery implementation - check your notebook's own USB-C/Thunderbolt port specification if in doubt.
Monitor compatibility. Any monitor with an HDMI or DisplayPort input works. Reaching 8K or triple-4K@60Hz needs both a USB4-capable host and a display that natively supports the target resolution and refresh rate - a display that maxes out at 4K@60Hz will simply run at its own native resolution.
Mounting. The dock is compatible with the Targus VESA Mounting Bracket (ACX003GLZ, sold separately) for fixing it to the rear of a VESA-mount monitor.
