Multi-Gigabit PoE++ Campus Access Switch
The RUCKUS ICX 7550-48ZP-E2-R3 is a 1U stackable campus switch for high-power, multi-gigabit access: 36 ports run at up to 2.5 Gbps and 12 at up to 10 Gbps, and all 48 deliver 802.3bt PoE++ at up to 90 W per port. Two 40/100 GbE QSFP28 ports handle uplink or stacking, and a modular slot adds further uplinks.
This part number is a bundle: RUCKUS ships it with 2 x 1200 W AC power supplies and 3 fans, front-to-back airflow, and includes 3 years of RUCKUS remote support. Port modules and transceivers are sold separately.
1,020 Gbps Switching and Stacking up to 12 Units
RUCKUS rates the ICX 7550-48ZP at 1,020 Gbps switching capacity and 759 Mpps forwarding. Up to 12 switches can be stacked over the fixed QSFP28 ports, at distances of up to 10 km between stacked switches, with 2.4 Tbps aggregated stacking bandwidth, and the stack is managed as a single switch.
Layer 3 Routing, Upgradable by Licence
Base software includes IPv4/IPv6 static routes, RIP v1/v2, RIPng and ECMP. The ICX7550-PREM-LIC premium licence adds OSPF v2/v3, BGP4/BGP4+, PIM, PBR, VRRP v3, GRE, IPv6-over-IPv4 tunnels and VRF-lite. MACsec is available with the ICX-MACSEC-LIC licence and the MACsec-capable 4 x 10GbE module.
Cloud or On-Premises Management
The RUCKUS data sheet lists RUCKUS One (cloud) and SmartZone (on premises) management for the ICX 7550, alongside the CLI, an RJ-45 out-of-band management port and USB Type-C / RJ-45 console ports.
Supplied in Singapore with Local Warranty

Powering Access Points
All 48 ports deliver 802.3bt PoE++ at up to 90 W per port. The available PoE budget depends on the power supplies fitted and the input voltage; ask us to size it for your AP count. The 2.5G and 10G multi-gigabit ports let Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 access points connect at more than 1 Gbps.
Uplink Modules
The modular slot accepts ICX7650-1X100GQ (1 x 40/100 GbE QSFP28), ICX7650-2X40GQ (2 x 40 GbE QSFP+), ICX7650-4X10GF (4 x 1/10 GbE SFP+, MACsec capable) and ICX7550-4X25GF (4 x 1/10/25 GbE SFP28). Modules and transceivers are sold separately.
Power Supplies & Fans
RPS22-E / RPS22-I (1200 W AC at 180-240 V) PoE supplies, RPS21-E / RPS21-I (400 W AC), and ICX-FAN12-E / ICX-FAN12-I fans; -E is front-to-back (exhaust), -I is back-to-front (intake). The -E2 bundle ships with front-to-back (-E) parts.
