10G Multi-Gigabit PoE++ Campus Access Switch
The RUCKUS ICX 7550-24XZP is a 1U stackable campus switch with 24 x 100/1000 Mbps/2.5/5/10 Gbps RJ-45 ports, all delivering 802.3bt PoE++ at up to 90 W per port. Two 40/100 GbE QSFP28 ports handle uplink or stacking, and a modular slot adds further uplinks.
This part number is the switch chassis only: RUCKUS states that power supplies, fans and port modules are sold separately, so order it together with power supplies and fans, or choose the -E2 bundle (see the ordering table below).
1,080 Gbps Switching and Stacking up to 12 Units
RUCKUS rates the ICX 7550-24XZP at 1,080 Gbps switching capacity and 803 Mpps forwarding. Up to 12 switches can be stacked over the fixed QSFP28 ports, at distances of up to 10 km between stacked switches, with 2.4 Tbps aggregated stacking bandwidth, and the stack is managed as a single switch.
Layer 3 Routing, Upgradable by Licence
Base software includes IPv4/IPv6 static routes, RIP v1/v2, RIPng and ECMP. The ICX7550-PREM-LIC premium licence adds OSPF v2/v3, BGP4/BGP4+, PIM, PBR, VRRP v3, GRE, IPv6-over-IPv4 tunnels and VRF-lite. MACsec is available with the ICX-MACSEC-LIC licence and the MACsec-capable 4 x 10GbE module.
Cloud or On-Premises Management
The RUCKUS data sheet lists RUCKUS One (cloud) and SmartZone (on premises) management for the ICX 7550, alongside the CLI, an RJ-45 out-of-band management port and USB Type-C / RJ-45 console ports.
Supplied in Singapore with Local Warranty
RUCKUS covers this switch with the RUCKUS Assurance Limited Lifetime Warranty and 90 days of RUCKUS TAC support (a RUCKUS Technical Support contract is needed after that). Powering Access Points
All 24 ports run at up to 10 Gbps and deliver 802.3bt PoE++ at up to 90 W per port, suited to Wi-Fi 7 access points with 5G/10G uplinks. The available PoE budget depends on the power supplies fitted and the input voltage; ask us to size it for your AP count.
Uplink Modules
The modular slot accepts ICX7650-1X100GQ (1 x 40/100 GbE QSFP28), ICX7650-2X40GQ (2 x 40 GbE QSFP+), ICX7650-4X10GF (4 x 1/10 GbE SFP+, MACsec capable) and ICX7550-4X25GF (4 x 1/10/25 GbE SFP28). Modules and transceivers are sold separately.
