NETGEAR M4500-32C 32x 100G QSFP28 Fully Managed Switch (CSM4532-100EUS) - Limited Lifetime Local Warranty
32 Ports of 100G in 1U
The NETGEAR M4500-32C is a full-width 1U fully managed switch with thirty-two 100G QSFP28 ports. Each port runs at 100G, 50G or 40G, or breaks out to 4x 25G or 4x 10G. A 6.4 Tbps non-blocking switching fabric and 2 Bpps throughput make it suited to spine and core roles in large AV-over-IP and campus networks.
Low Latency and Redundant Hardware
Latency is 0.13µs at 100G with 64-byte frames. Two APS750W power supplies (1+1) and six AFT402 fan trays (4+2) come pre-installed with front-to-back airflow, and the switch keeps dual firmware images on a 128GB SSD.
Built for AV over IP
NETGEAR IGMP Plus is pre-configured so multicast works out of the box, and the series supports up to 320 TX / 320 RX 10G SDVoE nodes at line rate in a redundant spine-and-leaf design. Colour-coded AV profiles and the NETGEAR Engage Controller simplify setup.
Full Layer 3 Routing
Static routing, OSPF, BGP4, VRRP, VRF-Lite, PIM multicast routing, MLAG and a VXLAN gateway are supported for data-centre and campus designs.

NETGEAR lists the following compatible modules for the M4500 series: 100G QSFP28 ACM761 (100GBASE-SR4) and ACM762 (100GBASE-LR4); 40G QSFP+ AXLM761 (40GBASE-MR4) and AXLM762 (40GBASE-LR4); 10G SFP+ AXM761 (SR), AXM762 (LR), AXM763 (LRM), AXM764 (LR Lite) and AXM765 (10GBASE-T); 1G SFP AGM731F (SX), AGM732F (LX) and AGM734 (1000BASE-T). Direct attach cables: ACC761 / ACC763 (100G QSFP28, 1m / 3m), AXLC761 / AXLC763 (40G QSFP+, 1m / 3m) and AXC761, AXC763, AXC765, AXC767, AXC7610, AXC7615, AXC7620 (10G SFP+, 1m to 20m).
Power Supplies and Fans
The switch ships with two APS750W power supplies (1+1 redundancy) and six AFT402 fan trays (4+2 redundancy) pre-installed, all front-to-back airflow. NETGEAR sells spares as APS750W-10000S and AFT402-10000S.
Management
Industry-standard CLI via the RJ45 RS232 console, Telnet or SSH; SNMP v1/v2c/v3, RMON, sFlow and LLDP; TFTP, SFTP and SCP file transfer. A 1G out-of-band management port and a USB port are on the front panel. An AV web user interface with colour-coded AV profiles (Dante, Q-SYS, AES67, NDI, SDVoE and others) is provided for AV installers.
NETGEAR Engage Controller
NETGEAR Engage Controller manages M4250, M4300, M4350 and M4500 switches together in AV-over-IP deployments. Auto-LAG and Auto-Trunk configure uplinks automatically between the M4500 and M4250, M4300 and M4350 switches.
AV Protocols
NETGEAR IGMP Plus multicast is pre-configured on VLAN 1 so AV-over-IP multicast works out of the box. The series is SDVoE-ready, with up to 320 TX / 320 RX 10G nodes at line rate in a spine-and-leaf design. NETGEAR lists PTPv2 Transparent Clock only; SMPTE ST 2110 Grandmaster/Boundary Clock and switch stacking are not listed for the M4500 series.
