The NETGEAR GS724T (GS724Tv6) is a 24-port Gigabit Ethernet smart switch with two dedicated 1G SFP fiber ports for uplinks to a core switch or between floors. NETGEAR rates it at 52 Gbps switching fabric and 38.6 Mpps forwarding.
L2+ / Layer 3 Lite Features
Beyond VLANs (up to 256, including protocol-, MAC- and voice-based), QoS and IGMP/MLD snooping, the GS724T adds static routing, link aggregation (up to 8 LAGs of 8 members), ACLs and 802.1x authentication for a well-segmented, secure SMB network.
Manage Locally or From the Cloud
Configure the switch through the local web interface or manage it remotely with NETGEAR Insight — the app and cloud portal give one view across sites and networks.
Silent and Rack-Ready
The fanless design (0 dBA) and 13.5 W maximum draw suit offices and classrooms; the internal power supply and included rack-mount kit make for a clean 19-inch rack installation.
