Logitech Brio 500 Full HD 1080p HDR Webcam
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Logitech Brio 500 Full HD 1080p HDR Webcam (960-001423) - 2 Years Local Warranty
Full HD 1080p HDR Webcam with a 4 MP Sensor and Autofocus
The Logitech Brio 500 Full HD 1080p HDR Webcam (960-001423) is the step up from Logitech's entry BRIO cameras: a 4 MP sensor behind a glass lens, true autofocus, and RightLight 4 with HDR to keep skin tones natural whether you sit under harsh office downlights or against a bright Singapore window. It records 1080p at 30 fps and 720p at 60 fps over a single USB-C cable.
Selectable 90°, 78° or 65° Field of View
One camera covers three framing choices. Open the view to 90° when two people share a desk or a small huddle space, tighten to 78° for a normal head-and-shoulders shot, or go to 65° when you want the background cropped out entirely. A 4× digital zoom lets you fine-tune from there.
Show Mode for Sketches, Samples and Documents
Tilt the Brio 500 down and it automatically flips and reorients the image so you can present physical items — a wiring diagram, a product sample, a signed document — without a second camera or a document scanner. It is the fastest way to make a remote meeting feel like a desk-side conversation.
Dual Noise-Reducing Microphones and a Magnetic Mount That Just Works
Two noise-reduction microphones capture your voice at up to 1.22 m while suppressing room noise, and the integrated privacy shutter physically blocks the lens between calls. The universal mount clip with its removable adaptor holds the camera securely on monitors, laptops and displays, and the whole camera runs off the attached 1.5 m USB-C cable.

Frequently Asked Questions — Logitech Brio 500
How is the Brio 500 different from the Brio 505?
They share the 4 MP sensor, glass lens, autofocus, 4× digital zoom, RightLight 4 with HDR, dual microphones and USB-C connection. The Brio 505 is the business SKU: Logitech publishes RightSight auto-framing, Logitech Sync fleet management and TAA compliance for it, and it is sold through the B2B channel.
What field of view should I use, and what room size does that suit?
Use 65° or 78° for a single person at a desk and 90° when a colleague joins you or you are in a small huddle space. It is still a personal webcam — for a meeting room with a table, a Logitech video bar with a room-scale microphone array is the right product.
How does it compare with the BRIO 300 and MX Brio 705?
The BRIO 300 is a simpler 2 MP fixed-focus camera with a single 70° view and one microphone. The Logitech MX Brio 705 is the 4K flagship, with RightLight 5, advanced closed-loop autofocus and 4K/30 fps capture. The Brio 500 sits between them: Full HD, but with autofocus, HDR, selectable framing and stereo audio.
What is Show Mode and do I need extra software for it?
Show Mode lets you tilt the camera down to present a physical object, and the image is reoriented automatically. It is built into the camera. Logi Tune is a free optional app for adjusting zoom, colour and focus and for firmware updates.
Does it need a room PC, dock, licence or power adapter?
No. Video and power both travel over the single attached USB-C cable, and there is no licence or subscription. It works directly from a laptop, a monitor with USB-C, or a docking station.
Will it work with a USB-A laptop?
The attached cable is USB-C. Logitech states that the equivalent Brio 505 can be connected to USB-A with a third-party adapter, and the same applies here. If most of your fleet is USB-A, the Brio 105 ships with a USB-A cable instead.
Does the Brio 500 come with warranty in Singapore?
Yes. Every Brio 500 sold by SourceIT comes with 2 years local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice.
