PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Logitech BCC950 ConferenceCam with Speakerphone (960-000939) - 2 Years Local Warranty

All-in-One Camera and Speakerphone for Huddle Rooms and Private Offices

The Logitech BCC950 ConferenceCam puts a motorised camera and a full-duplex speakerphone in one desktop unit, aimed by Logitech at small groups of up to four people in huddle rooms, private offices and small conference spaces. Everything runs over a single USB 2.0 connection, and the base doubles as the control surface with buttons for pan, tilt, zoom, call answer and end, volume and mute. For a small Singapore office that needs one meeting space brought onto video quickly and cheaply, it remains a sensible answer.

Motorised Camera Head with RightLight 2 and a 228 mm Extender Stem

A 3 MP sensor with a Carl Zeiss glass lens and autofocus delivers 1080p at 30 fps over a 78° diagonal field of view. The camera head is genuinely motorised, panning ±64° and tilting from +24° to −30° from the remote or the base buttons. Zoom is 1.2x digital — there is no optical zoom on this model and we will not pretend otherwise. RightLight 2 handles the exposure problems of a bright office, and the 228 mm extender stem raises the camera to eye level so you are not filming everyone from chin height.

Full-Duplex Speakerphone with Echo and Noise Cancellation

One omnidirectional noise-cancelling microphone covers a 2.4 m diameter, with acoustic echo cancellation and noise cancellation so both sides can talk at once without clipping. The speaker runs 220 Hz to 20 kHz with a maximum output of 80 dB SPL at 0.3 m, and microphone response covers 200 Hz to 8 kHz. That pickup range is the honest limit on room size — BCC950 is a four-person device, not a boardroom device.

Single USB Connection, Desktop Form Factor

BCC950 connects over USB 2.0 as a standard UVC device, with a 2.4 m attached USB cable and a 2.4 m power cable; an AC adapter is included. There is no HDMI, Bluetooth or NFC on this model. It is a tabletop device: Logitech’s spec table confirms there is no tripod mount and no privacy shade. The infrared remote works to 3 m and ships with its CR2032 battery.

Skype for Business and Skype Certified (Logitech datasheet)
Zoom Compatible. Logitech’s product page lists Zoom under compatible applications, not certified.
Microsoft Teams Logitech publishes no Microsoft Teams certification for BCC950. It works as a standard USB camera and audio device in Teams.
Other platforms Logitech lists BCC950 as compatible with most video conferencing applications
Software No proprietary software required

We have deliberately not repeated the Microsoft Teams certification claim that appears on some reseller listings. Logitech does not state it for this model, and an inaccurate certification claim is the kind of thing that fails an IT review.

Regional part numbers

960-000939 is the part number Logitech shows on its Singapore product page and is correct for this market. Logitech’s US pages and datasheets quote 960-000866 for the Americas, and the EU datasheet quotes 960-000867. The specifications are identical; the difference is the regional AC plug and packaging.

Frequently Asked Questions — Logitech BCC950

How many people can the BCC950 realistically cover?

Logitech rates it for small groups of up to four. The limiting factor is the single microphone with its 2.4 m pickup diameter — beyond that, remote participants will struggle to hear people at the far end of the table. For a room of six or more, look at MeetUp or GROUP instead.

Does it have optical zoom?

No. BCC950 has 1.2x digital zoom only. The pan and tilt are motorised, which is what most people actually want from it, but the zoom is digital. If you need optical zoom, the PTZ Pro 2 has 5x optical and the Rally Camera has 5x optical within its 15x HD zoom.

Is the BCC950 certified for Microsoft Teams?

Logitech does not publish a Microsoft Teams certification for BCC950 — the datasheet certifies it for Skype for Business and Skype, and Logitech lists Zoom as compatible rather than certified. It will work perfectly well as a standard USB camera and audio device in Teams, but we will not claim a certification that Logitech does not state.

Do I need a room PC, a licence or any software?

No licence and no software. BCC950 is a plug-and-play USB device; connect it to any laptop, PC or Mac and select it as the camera and audio device in whatever meeting application you already use.

Can I mount it on a tripod or wall?

No. Logitech’s spec table confirms BCC950 has no tripod mount, and there is no privacy shade. It is a tabletop device with a 228 mm extender stem to bring the lens up to seated eye level. If you need a mounted camera, look at the PTZ Pro 2, which has a 1/4-20 tripod thread and a wall bracket.

How does BCC950 compare with MeetUp or ConferenceCam Connect?

BCC950 is 1080p with a motorised head and a single microphone for up to four people. ConferenceCam Connect covers up to six with two microphones, adds HDMI out, Bluetooth and a battery, but has no motorised pan or tilt. MeetUp is the modern all-in-one 4K bar with a much wider lens and far better audio. For a new purchase in a room of more than four people, MeetUp is usually the better call.

Is the BCC950 still supported by Logitech?

Logitech has published no end-of-sale or end-of-life notice for BCC950 and it does not appear on Logitech’s end-of-sale page. It is, however, a long-standing model and Logitech’s US page no longer offers it for direct purchase. Check current availability with SourceIT before planning a multi-unit rollout.

Does the Logitech BCC950 come with a Singapore warranty?

Yes. Every Logitech BCC950 sold by SourceIT comes with 2 years local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice.
