PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Lenovo ThinkVision T24D-4v (64B7UAR1MY) - 3 Years Local Warranty

Microsoft Teams Certified: a 5 MP Camera, a 100 W Dock and Gigabit Ethernet in One Monitor

The ThinkVision T24D-4v is the complete desk in a single 23.8-inch display. A 5.0-megapixel IR and RGB camera with Windows Hello, an integrated microphone, 5 W x 2 speakers, a 100 W USB-C docking port, gigabit Ethernet and a DisplayPort 1.4 output — and Lenovo publishes an explicit Microsoft Teams certification for it.

One Cable to the Laptop, Everything Else in the Monitor

Connect one USB-C cable and the laptop gets the picture, up to 100 W of charging, a wired gigabit network connection, three USB ports, the camera, the microphone and the speakers. Close the lid and the desk is a full workstation. For hot-desking and hybrid meeting rooms this is as close to a one-item specification as monitors get.

The Teams Certification Is the Difference From Its Siblings

The T24-4v carries the same 5-megapixel camera but is not listed as Teams certified. The T24D-40 docks identically but has no camera at all. This model is the only one in the 24-inch range that does both and carries the certification. If your organisation runs Teams and procurement asks for certified endpoints, this is the SKU.

HDMI 2.1, an Audio Combo Jack, and a Thick Bottom Bezel

Video inputs are HDMI 2.1 TMDS and DisplayPort 1.4, plus USB-C — a newer HDMI generation than the T24D-40's 1.4. There is a 3.5 mm audio combo jack for a headset. The camera and speakers give it a 40.8 mm bottom bezel, so it looks different from the ultra-thin models beside it.

Specification note. Every figure on this page is taken from Lenovo's own PSREF specification sheet for the ThinkVision T24D-4v, with any item drawn from Lenovo's product datasheet instead labelled as such in the table. Lenovo publishes monitor specifications per model rather than per part number — the PSREF sheet we link does not itself list this SKU, and the suffix on a part number governs market and packaging rather than the panel or the ports. Where Lenovo publishes no figure, this page says so rather than estimating one, and where two Lenovo documents disagree we show the disagreement. Specifications and prices are subject to change by Lenovo without notice.

Compatibility & Fit

What "docking" means on this monitor, precisely. One USB-C cable from the laptop carries the picture, up to 100 W of charging, gigabit-class Ethernet from the monitor's RJ45 port, and the downstream USB ports. Close the laptop lid, plug in one cable, and the desk is live. Check your machine's own power requirement against that figure first — it covers the great majority of business ultrabooks, but a mobile workstation with a 170 W adapter should keep using it.

Why the camera and the dock belong together. On a conferencing monitor without docking, the camera needs its own USB cable back to the laptop. Here the single USB-C connection carries the camera, the microphone, the speakers, the network, the USB ports, the picture and the power. That is the difference between a desk with one cable on it and a desk with four.

Decoding the model names in this range, because the letters do real work and Lenovo does not publish a key. D means USB-C docking — a 100 W upstream port with DisplayPort Alt Mode, Ethernet and usually a DisplayPort output. v means video conferencing — a built-in 5-megapixel IR and RGB camera with Windows Hello and a microphone. t means touch. Q means QHD, UD means 4K UHD and WD means an ultrawide. So a T24-4v has the camera but no dock, while a T24D-4v has both. These are read off Lenovo's own product titles rather than from a naming document, because Lenovo publishes none.

The Teams certification, and what it is worth. Lenovo publishes an explicit Microsoft Teams certification for this model — the only monitor in the 24-inch T-series range that carries one. If your organisation standardises on Teams and procurement requires certified endpoints, that certification is the reason to specify this SKU over the T24-4v, which has the same camera without the listing.

A DisplayPort output for a second screen. Run the laptop into this monitor over USB-C and a second display out of the DisplayPort 1.4 port. Lenovo publishes the port but states no chain limit, so for three or more displays ask us to confirm the topology first.

No VGA. Like the other docking models in this range, the T24D-4v drops VGA. If you still need it, the non-docking T24-40 and T24-4v keep that input.

PSREF is Lenovo's own Product Specifications Reference and is the source for every figure on this page unless the table says otherwise. PSREF publishes its spec sheets per model rather than per part number, so this SKU does not appear inside the PDF itself; a per-part-number detail page also exists at psref.lenovo.com and will render in a normal browser if you need this exact configuration confirmed before ordering. Ask us and we will pull it for you.

Frequently Asked Questions — Lenovo ThinkVision T24D-4v

Is this the one that is Microsoft Teams certified?

Yes. Lenovo publishes a Microsoft Teams certification for the T24D-4v. Its non-docking sibling the T24-4v uses the same 5-megapixel IR and RGB camera but is not listed as certified, so if Teams certification is a procurement requirement, this is the SKU to buy.

What does one USB-C cable actually give me?

Video at 1920 x 1080, up to 100 W of charging, gigabit Ethernet, three downstream USB ports, the 5-megapixel camera, the microphone and the 5 W x 2 speakers. One cable, whole desk. Check your laptop's own power requirement against 100 W — it covers almost everything short of a mobile workstation.

Does the camera have a privacy shutter?

Lenovo does not publish one for this model, so we do not claim one. If a physical shutter is required at your site, ask us and we will get it confirmed by Lenovo in writing before you order.

How is it different from the T24D-40?

Same dock, same panel size and resolution. The T24D-4v adds the 5-megapixel IR and RGB camera with Windows Hello, an integrated microphone, a 3.5 mm audio combo jack, 5 W x 2 speakers instead of 2 W x 2, HDMI 2.1 instead of HDMI 1.4, and the Microsoft Teams certification. Its bottom bezel is thicker as a result.

Can I run a second monitor from it?

Yes, over the DisplayPort 1.4 output. Lenovo publishes the port but no chain limit, so tell us if you are planning more than two screens and we will check the topology with Lenovo.

What warranty applies in Singapore?

Lenovo PSREF states a 3-year limited warranty as the base warranty for this model, and every unit SourceIT sells comes with local Singapore warranty support and a GST invoice.
