The Ergotron MXV Desk Dual Monitor Arm with Under Mount C-Clamp (45-518-216) carries two displays up to 24″ each, 7–20 lbs (3.2–9.1 kg) per screen, fixed from underneath the worksurface rather than gripped over the desk edge. The top edge of the desk stays completely clear — a tidier result for open-plan benches, client-facing desks and any installation where a conventional clamp head would be visible or in the way.
Check Your Desk Thickness: 25 to 35 mm
The under-mount C-clamp is specified for worksurfaces 0.98″–1.38″ (25–35 mm) thick. That is a narrower window than a top-mounted clamp, so measure before ordering — most standard office bench tops fall inside it, but thicker solid or laminated tops may not. Desks outside the range take the standard-clamp version of the same arm instead.
