The Eaton 5P Gen2 5P1150IRG2 is a 1150 VA / 920 W line-interactive UPS with pure sine-wave output in a slim 1U, 19-inch rack chassis. It suits comms cabinets and server racks in Singapore offices where rack space is tight, riding through outages, sags and surges so servers, switches, firewalls and storage stay up or shut down cleanly.
Automatic Voltage Regulation and 98.2% Efficiency
Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) corrects low and high input voltage without using the battery. Eaton specifies an input window of 160–294 V (adjustable down to 150 V) and 98.2% efficiency at maximum load, keeping heat and running costs down in small, closed rooms.
Graphical LCD, Network-Ready and Remote Reboot
A multilingual graphical LCD with blue backlight gives local status and settings. USB and RS232 ports are standard and one slot accepts an optional Eaton communication card. Eaton lists 2 manageable outlet groups for remote reboot and runtime optimisation, compatibility with VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix Xen and Red Hat virtual environments, and full integration with the Eaton Brightlayer software suite.
Advanced Battery Management, Hot-Swappable Batteries
Eaton's ABM+ charging extends battery service life, automatic battery tests check battery health, and the batteries are hot-swappable and user replaceable. Eaton quotes 12.5 min runtime at half load and 3 min at full load.

The 5P1150IRG2 suits entry and mid-range servers, NAS and storage, core and access switches, firewalls, VoIP/PABX and POS back-office equipment in a 19-inch rack. Keep the continuous load under 920 W with headroom.
Monitoring and Shutdown Software
The HID-compliant USB port lets most operating systems see the UPS as a power source without extra drivers. For graceful shutdown, virtual-environment integration and fleet monitoring, Eaton points to its Brightlayer software suite. Add an optional Eaton network card in the expansion slot for SNMP/web monitoring.
Outlets
Outputs are 6 x IEC C13. Input is an IEC C14 inlet; two IEC-IEC cables are included. Equipment with BS 1363 (Type G) plugs needs IEC leads or an IEC-input PDU.
