Online Double-Conversion Protection with an 8–10 Year Lithium Battery
The Eaton 9PX1000IRT2U-L is a 1000 VA / 1000 W online double-conversion UPS in a 2U rack/tower chassis, built with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries. For Singapore server rooms, network cabinets and edge sites, that means clean, regulated power at all times and a battery Eaton rates for 8–10 years of service life, compared with the usual 3–5 years for VRLA lead-acid.
Fewer battery replacements over the life of the UPS means lower total cost of ownership and fewer site visits, which matters for branch offices and unmanned cabinets.
Unity Power Factor and High Efficiency
The full 1000 VA rating is available as 1000 W. Eaton rates efficiency at up to 91.5% in online mode and 97.5% in high-efficiency mode, and the 9PX Lithium range is Energy Star qualified. The input accepts 176–276 V without derating (100–276 V with derating), so most sags are handled without touching the battery.
Scalable Runtime with 1U Lithium Battery Modules
Up to four hot-swappable 9PXEBM48RT1U-L external battery modules can be added, each only 1U high. Eaton publishes 45 minutes at 300 W with the internal battery, 114 minutes with one EBM and 321 minutes with four.
Managed, Secure and Rack-Ready
USB and RS232 ports, remote ON/OFF, remote power off and a relay output are standard, with a card slot for Eaton's Gigabit Network, Industrial Gateway or Relay card. Eaton highlights dual cybersecurity certifications (UL 2900-1 and IEC 62443-4-2) for the 9PX Lithium range. Two switchable outlet groups allow load shedding of non-critical equipment.

What It Is Suited To
The 9PX1000IRT2U-L suits a small rack of network switches, firewalls, a server or two, NAS/storage and edge IT. Keep the continuous load under 1000 W. Note the input is an IEC C14 (10 A) inlet.
Monitoring and Shutdown
Use USB or RS232 for a single host, or add an Eaton Gigabit Network card for SNMP/web monitoring and orderly multi-server or virtualised shutdown with Eaton Intelligent Power Manager. The Industrial Gateway card supports Modbus/BMS integration and the Relay card provides dry contacts.
Outlets
All 8 outlets are IEC C13. Equipment with BS 1363 (Type G) plugs needs an IEC C14 lead or an IEC-input power strip.
