Remote Management for the DMC-1000
The D-Link DMC-1002 provides SNMP-based and web-based management of all media converter and power supply modules installed in the DMC-1000 chassis.
Real-Time Status and Traps
It shows the link, speed and duplex status of each converter in real time and sends SNMP traps for cold start, warm start, authentication fail, power fail, fan fail, module insertion and pull-out, and port link up/down.
Console, Telnet and Web
A 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet port and an RS-232 console port give access through a menu-driven terminal program (console or Telnet) or a web browser, with password protection and TFTP/web firmware and configuration upload.
