40G over Multi-Mode Fibre

The D-Link DEM-QX01Q-SR4 is a 40GBASE-SR4 QSFP+ transceiver for 40G Ethernet. It uses an 850 nm laser over OM3 or OM4 multi-mode fibre with an MPO connector, reaching 100 m on OM3 and 150 m on OM4 — for switch-to-switch and aggregation links in data centres and enterprise wiring closets.

Hot Pluggable and MSA Compliant

The module is IEEE 802.3ba and QSFP+ MSA compliant, RoHS compliant, runs on 3.3 V and is hot swappable in a standard QSFP+ slot.
