PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Cisco Room Kit EQ with Quad Camera, First Light (CS-KIT-EQ-K9) — 1 Year Local Warranty
Modular video system for medium and large rooms
The Cisco Room Kit EQ (CS-KIT-EQ-K9) pairs the Cisco Codec EQ compute engine with the Cisco Quad Camera and a Cisco Room Navigator touch controller. Cisco positions it for large workspaces with up to 14–16 people, extensible with multi-camera set-ups, as well as training rooms and boardrooms. This part number is the First Light finish.
Cisco Quad Camera with built-in audio
The Quad Camera combines four sensors (up to 20 MP, with intelligent switching): a wide lens with an 83° horizontal field of view and three tele-lenses at 50°, with 7x zoom (5x native plus digital enhancement). It outputs 1080p at up to 60 fps, and also houses an 8-element microphone array for speaker tracking and a loudspeaker system with a full-range driver and dual low-frequency drivers.
Intelligent framing
Group view, speaker view, Frames mode (individual participant tiles), group-and-speaker multistream and manual presets are supported. Cisco recommends the furthest in-room participant be within 9 m for speaker tracking. Adding a PTZ camera enables extended speaker view and cross-view camera switching.
Codec EQ connectivity
Codec EQ provides three HDMI inputs and one USB-C input (up to 3840 × 2160 at 30 fps), three HDMI outputs (up to 3840 × 2160 at 60 fps) for triple-screen rooms, and four PoE++ ports with a 90 W shared budget for IP microphones, cameras and other peripherals. Up to eight Cisco IP microphones can be connected, and USB passthrough lets a laptop use the room camera and audio.
Webex, Microsoft Teams Rooms and interoperability
On RoomOS the kit joins Webex natively and Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet through interoperability, deployed in the cloud, on-premises or hybrid. It can alternatively run Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android, which also offers native Webex meetings when registered in Control Hub.
Workspace sensors and management
Ultrasound presence detection wakes the system when people enter, people count feeds workspace analytics, and the Room Navigator adds temperature, humidity and air-quality readings. Everything is managed in Webex Control Hub, with ThousandEyes integration for network diagnostics.
