The panel is IPS with 178°/178° viewing angle, 250 cd/m² typical brightness and an 800:1 contrast ratio, with an anti-glare surface and antibacterial treatment on the bezel and rear — relevant for a shared or hot-desking deployment. Fold-Out Kickstand with Auto-Rotation

Connectivity & Portability
Hybrid Signal — Who Actually Needs This Model
The hybrid USB-C/USB-A design exists for one specific scenario: a laptop that does not support DisplayPort Alt Mode over its USB-C port, or has no USB-C port at all, only USB-A. On those machines, the monitor connects over USB-A using a driver installed on the host, in place of a native video signal. If your laptop already has a working USB-C DP Alt Mode port, the plain dual-USB-C MB16AHV or MB16AHG will generally give a simpler plug-and-play setup with no driver needed.
No HDMI Input
There is no HDMI port on this model — the hybrid USB-C/USB-A path is the connection method for non-DP-Alt-Mode hosts, not an HDMI adapter. If your source is HDMI-only with no USB-A or USB-C DP Alt Mode output, the MB16AHV, MB16AHG or MB16AHT with their Mini-HDMI ports are a better fit.
Low Power Draw
At around 6.6W typical, the MB16ACV draws less power than several of the other ZenScreen models, which is what makes the USB-A hybrid fallback practical — a standard USB-A port on an older laptop can supply enough current for the panel at this draw level.
