First Setup

Connect a display to either HDMI 2.1 port or a Thunderbolt 4 port, plug in a keyboard and mouse, connect the power adapter and complete the Windows 11 Pro first-boot setup. Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5G Ethernet are both available for the initial connection.

Memory Upgrades

Both DDR5 slots sit under the tool-less lid. ASUS supports up to 48 GB per slot. This unit ships with 16 GB DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM (1 x 16 GB).

Storage Expansion

Slot 1 (M.2 2280) runs at PCIe 4.0 x4 with this processor and supports up to 8 TB; slot 2 (M.2 2242, PCIe 4.0 x4) supports up to 2 TB. ASUS does not list a 2.5-inch SATA bay on the NUC 15 Pro or Pro+.

Tall-Chassis Expansion Modules

ASUS offers Tall-kit-only expansion modules: a second SSD module, a second 2.5GbE LAN module, and a second 2.5GbE LAN module with RS232 serial port. They are sold separately; ask SourceIT for availability.

Displays and Networking

Up to four 4K displays are supported across the two HDMI 2.1 and two Thunderbolt 4 (DisplayPort 2.1) outputs. ASUS also supports headless operation for server, signage and remote-management roles, and ASUS Power Sync uses HDMI CEC to power the PC on and off with a compatible monitor. Networking is Intel I226-V 2.5G Ethernet plus Intel Wi-Fi 7 BE201 and Bluetooth 5.4.

Mounting

A VESA bracket and screws are included, so the unit can be mounted on the back of a monitor or under a desk.

Is this a complete system or a barebone kit?

Complete system. It ships with the Intel Core 7 Processor 240H, 16 GB DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM (1 x 16 GB) and a 512 GB NVMe SSD installed, with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed.

Does it have Intel Arc graphics or Core Ultra AI acceleration?

No. The Core 7 240H uses integrated Intel Graphics. Choose a Core Ultra 5 225H or Core Ultra 7 255H configuration if you need the Intel Arc GPU and the AI performance ASUS quotes for the range.

What is the difference between the Tall and Slim chassis?

Both are 117 x 112 mm with the same ports and slots. The Tall chassis is 54 mm high and supports ASUS's Tall-only expansion modules (second SSD, second 2.5GbE LAN, or 2.5GbE LAN with RS232); the Slim chassis is 36.8 mm high and does not.

Does it have a 2.5-inch SATA drive bay?

No. ASUS does not list a 2.5-inch bay. Storage is two M.2 NVMe slots: M.2 2280 (up to 8 TB) and M.2 2242 (up to 2 TB).

How many monitors can it drive?

Up to four 4K displays, using the two HDMI 2.1 ports and the two Thunderbolt 4 ports with DisplayPort 2.1.

How much memory does it support?

Two DDR5 slots, up to 48 GB per slot (DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM).

Is there an analogue audio jack?

No. Audio is digital, carried over HDMI and Thunderbolt/DisplayPort to a monitor or USB/Bluetooth audio device.

Does it come with a GST invoice and warranty?
