20 MP Camera with 133° Super-Wide View
The UVC40's 20 MP Sony 1-inch CMOS sensor captures Ultra HD video across a 133° super-wide field of view with 8x e-PTZ zoom, so everyone at a small-room table is in frame without adjusting the camera. AI features — Auto Framing, sound-localised Speaker Tracking and AI Face Enhancement — keep participants clearly presented as the meeting moves, and an electric lens cap provides automatic privacy when not in use.
8-Microphone Array with 5-Metre Pickup
The built-in 8 MEMS microphone beamforming array picks up voices naturally up to 5 metres with acoustic echo cancellation, full-duplex audio and Yealink noise-proof processing, while the 5 W high-fidelity speaker reproduces the far end clearly — no external audio equipment needed in a small room.
One USB-C Cable via the BYOD Box

Compatibility & Software Support
The UVC40 uses standard UVC/UAC drivers, so it is plug-and-play compatible with Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, Zoom, Google Meet, Cisco Webex, BlueJeans and virtually any other conferencing application on the connected laptop or room PC.
Device settings, framing modes and firmware are managed through Yealink USB Connect, with central fleet management through the Yealink Device Management Platform (YDMP/YMCS). Additional wired microphone expansion is supported via the Yealink RJ45 microphone port.

The BYOD Box gives the room a single USB-C connection point for laptops: it carries the UVC40's camera and audio, adds an HDMI output for content to the room display, and supports laptop charging over the same cable.
How does the UVC40 compare with the newer UVC40 E2?
The UVC40 uses a 20 MP 1-inch sensor with a 133° view and 8x e-PTZ zoom, while the UVC40 E2 uses an 8 MP 1/1.8-inch sensor with a 120° view, 5x e-PTZ, Smart Area Exposure and a much lighter 1.37 kg body. Both are all-in-one 4K bars for small-to-medium rooms.
How does it compare with the UVC34?
