PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link Pharos 2.4GHz 300Mbps 9dBi Outdoor CPE (CPE210) - 5 Years Local Warranty
The CPE210 is the entry point to TP-Link's Pharos outdoor range: a 9 dBi dual-polarized directional MIMO antenna on 2.4 GHz, rated to 300 Mbps with transmit power adjustable to 27 dBm / 500 mW, and system-level optimizations TP-Link credits with more than 5 km of wireless transmission. It carries the same two-port PoE passthrough design and rugged ASA enclosure as the rest of the family.
9 dBi With a Wide 65° Beam for Shorter Hops
The built-in 9 dBi 2x2 dual-polarized directional antenna gives a 65° horizontal and 35° vertical pattern - the widest beam in the Pharos CPE line. That makes it quick to aim, tolerant of a pole that shifts slightly in the wind, and well suited to covering a spread of nearby buildings from a single base station. It is not the unit for a 20 km hop; it is the unit for a link across a yard, a campus or an estate where alignment time matters more than maximum reach.
2.4 GHz at 500 mW, Adjustable in 1 dBm Steps
Operating across 2.4-2.483 GHz with transmit power adjustable from 0 to 27 dBm / 500 mW, the CPE210 works the band that penetrates foliage and partial obstruction better than 5 GHz. Adjustability matters on a short link: dialling power down reduces self-interference and keeps neighbouring links clean, while the full budget is there when the path needs it. Deployment must respect the local regulatory limit for the band.
300 Mbps With Narrow-Channel Options
Wireless speeds reach 300 Mbps at 40 MHz, 144.4 Mbps at 20 MHz, 72.2 Mbps at 10 MHz and 36.1 Mbps at 5 MHz. The narrow channels are the practical tool for 2.4 GHz, which is the busiest band in any built-up area: halving the channel width raises the signal-to-noise margin and often produces a faster real-world link than a wide channel fighting for air. With MAXtream enabled the radio switches from 802.11b/g/n contention to TP-Link's proprietary TDMA scheduling, giving each station its own slot.
Two Ports, PoE Passthrough and a Grounding Terminal
LAN0 takes passive PoE in and LAN1 passes it through to a second device, so a camera on the same mast runs from the same injector and cable. A dedicated grounding terminal is fitted - essential for a rooftop radio in Singapore. Maximum power consumption is 10.5 W, and the supplied 24 V 1 A injector supports runs up to 60 m with a remote reset button so a stuck unit can be power-cycled from ground level.
ASA Enclosure, IPX5, 15 kV ESD and 6 kV Lightning Protection
The casing is outdoor ASA stabilized plastic - chosen for UV stability over years of exposure - with IPX5 waterproof certification, 15 kV ESD protection and 6 kV lightning protection. Operating range is -30 to 70 °C, storage -40 to 70 °C, humidity to 90% non-condensing. At 224 x 79 x 60 mm it is the same compact body as the CPE510, so mounting hardware and installation practice carry across.
Ideal For
Singapore campuses, worksites, warehouses and estates linking nearby buildings, CCTV and access-control backhaul from a gatehouse or car park, and small multipoint deployments where a wide beam beats maximum gain. TP-Link lists the CPE210 as End of Sale, so availability is limited - ask SourceIT about current stock and the current generation. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and project pricing on request.

Compatibility & Software Support
The CPE210 is a Pharos-series outdoor CPE. It runs TP-Link's PharOS firmware and is managed through its own web interface or the free Pharos Control application - it is not an Omada device and cannot be adopted into an Omada Software, Hardware or Cloud-Based Controller, so it will not appear in an Omada site view alongside Omada gateways, switches and access points.
| Omada Controller | Not supported — the CPE210 runs PharOS and is not adopted by an Omada Controller |
| Pharos Control | Supported — free centralised discovery and remote management of Pharos devices |
| Standalone Management | Supported — HTTP/HTTPS web interface, SSH, SNMP v2c, system log |
| PoE Passthrough | LAN1 passes passive PoE through to a second device on the same mast |
| Band | 2.4 GHz only — it will not link to a 5 GHz CPE such as the CPE510, CPE605, CPE610 or CPE710 |
Both ends of a link must be on the same band. Tell us the two sites and the distance and we will confirm whether the CPE210 or the higher-gain CPE220 is the right choice before you order.

Frequently Asked Questions — CPE210
How far will a CPE210 link go?
TP-Link cites system-level optimizations for more than 5 km. Real distance depends on clear line of sight, mounting height, alignment and the local noise floor — send us the two site locations and we will sanity-check the link before you commit.
How does it differ from the CPE220?
Antenna gain and power. The CPE210 is 9 dBi with a 65° beam at up to 27 dBm / 500 mW; the CPE220 is 12 dBi with a 60° beam at up to 30 dBm / 1000 mW. Both are 2.4 GHz, 300 Mbps, with PoE passthrough and a grounding terminal.
Can I manage it from my Omada Controller?
No. The CPE210 runs PharOS and is managed through its own web interface or the free Pharos Control application.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Five years local Singapore warranty — Pharos Outdoor CPE sits in TP-Link's five-year replacement tier. Every CPE210 sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.
Can SourceIT quote this for a project or tender?
Yes. Send the bill of materials and we will quote the whole build — bridge pair, mounting, surge protection, switching and the Omada network behind it — with local warranty and support.
