TP-Link Archer TBE550E BE9300 Wi-Fi 7 Bluetooth 5.4 PCIe Adapter
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link BE9300 Wi-Fi 7 Bluetooth 5.4 PCIe Adapter (Archer TBE550E) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The Archer TBE550E is TP-Link's Wi-Fi 7 desktop card, adding tri-band 802.11be on 6 GHz, 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz plus Bluetooth to a PC over one PCI Express slot. It ships with a magnetised antenna base on a 1 m braided RF cable, so the antennas can sit clear of a metal case rather than behind it. It is the top of TP-Link's current desktop adapter range, above the Wi-Fi 6E Archer TXE72E.
Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 at BE9300
TP-Link publishes IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be support with 802.11be link rates of up to 5760 Mbps on 6 GHz, up to 2880 Mbps on 5 GHz and up to 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. Earlier standards are supported alongside, with 802.11ax at up to 2402 Mbps on both 6 GHz and 5 GHz and 802.11ac at up to 1732 Mbps. These are physical link rates from the IEEE specification, not guaranteed throughput, and the access point has to support the same features for them to apply.
320 MHz Channels on 6 GHz
The headline Wi-Fi 7 gain here is channel width. TP-Link's own footnote states that the 320 MHz bandwidth is available only on the 6 GHz band, that 320 MHz on 6 GHz and 160 MHz on 5 GHz may be unavailable in some regions due to regulatory restrictions, and that its doubled-width claim compares 320 MHz against the 160 MHz of Wi-Fi 6 adapters. TP-Link also notes that 4K-QAM, Multi-RUs, OFDMA, MU-MIMO and BSS Color all require the access point and the PC operating system to support them too.
Windows 11 Only
This is the most important line on the page for a buyer. TP-Link publishes support for Windows 11, 64-bit, only, and the SG support site lists drivers for Windows 11 x64 alone. There is no published Windows 10 driver for the Archer TBE550E. If the machine is staying on Windows 10, the Archer TXE72E is the card to look at instead - ask us and we will send the comparison.
Magnetised Antenna Base and a 1 m Braided Cable
Two high-performance tri-band antennas are supplied on a magnetised base with a 1 m braided RF cable, which lets the antennas be placed on top of a desk or a case rather than at the back panel where a steel chassis blocks the signal. A low-profile bracket and a 0.3 m Bluetooth header cable are also in the box, along with a resource USB drive rather than a disc. Published transmit power is 24 dBm FCC and 20 dBm CE EIRP on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, and 20 dBm on both for 6 GHz.
What TP-Link Publishes, and What It Does Not
There is no published bus-interface row for this card, so no lane count is claimed here. TP-Link publishes no chipset row, no MIMO configuration, no antenna gain in dBi, no power draw and no weight for the TBE550E, and no Bluetooth specification block at all - Bluetooth 5.4 appears in the product name and in a footnote only. Published wireless security is WPA/WPA2/WPA3 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK, with no WEP entry. Certification is published as FCC/CE/IC/NCC/JRF/VCCI/BSMI, with no RoHS row.
Ideal For
Singapore desktops and workstations already on Windows 11 and paired with a Wi-Fi 7 router or access point, where 320 MHz channels on 6 GHz are worth the upgrade over Wi-Fi 6E, and where a metal case has been holding back a back-panel antenna. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and volume pricing on request.

TP-Link's own footnote states that certain features of the Archer TBE550E, such as Bluetooth 5.4, may be restricted on some computing systems and platforms, and advises updating the device driver for feature compatibility. It also notes that actual network speed may be limited by the rate of the product's PCI Express interface, the Ethernet WAN or LAN port, the network cable, the internet service provider, the operating system and other environmental conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions — Archer TBE550E
Does it work on Windows 10?
No. TP-Link publishes Windows 11 64-bit only for this model, and the SG support site lists Windows 11 drivers alone. For a Windows 10 machine, ask us about the Archer TXE72E instead.
Do I need a Wi-Fi 7 router to see the benefit?
For 802.11be rates and 320 MHz channels, yes. Against a Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 5 router the card falls back to that standard. We can quote the card with a matching TP-Link router or access point.
Why does it come with a magnetised antenna base?
Because a steel PC case blocks signal at the back panel. The supplied base and 1 m braided cable let the two antennas sit on the desk or on top of the case with a clear line to the router.
Is 320 MHz available in Singapore?
TP-Link states that 320 MHz is only on the 6 GHz band and may be unavailable in some regions due to regulatory restrictions. Check the channel width your router reports after setup; the card supports what the access point and the regulator allow.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Three years local Singapore warranty. Every Archer TBE550E sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.
Can SourceIT quote this in volume?
Yes. Send us the quantity and we will quote, including for mixed builds where the desktops, switching and access points come from us as one order.
