TP-Link Archer BE225 BE3600 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 7 Router
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link BE3600 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 7 Router (Archer BE225) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The Archer BE225 is TP-Link's most affordable BE3600 dual-band Wi-Fi 7 router: 2882 Mbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz under 802.11be, with Multi-Link Operation, four external antennas, a 2.5 Gbps WAN port and four 1 Gbps LAN ports.
3.6 Gbps Dual-Band Wi-Fi 7
Both bands are 802.11be, and TP-Link lists MLO, 4K-QAM and Multi-RUs, so Wi-Fi 7 clients can use 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz together. Capacity is rated High, with 2x2 MU-MIMO, OFDMA, Airtime Fairness, DFS and four streams.
2.5 Gbps WAN Port
A 2.5 Gbps WAN port lets the router take full advantage of fibre plans above 1 Gbps, while four 1 Gbps LAN ports serve wired PCs, TVs and consoles. 2.5 Gbps internet speeds require a compatible service plan and equipment.
Four External Antennas with Beamforming
Four external antennas and Beamforming give TP-Link's rated three-bedroom coverage, with an IoT Network option and works-with-Alexa and Google Assistant support. TP-Link states it supports all Wi-Fi generations and all internet providers.
HomeShield, VPN and EasyMesh
HomeShield includes a free Basic Plan (Pro Plan chargeable) with IoT protection, malicious site blocking, intrusion prevention, DDoS prevention and a network scanner. OpenVPN, PPTP, L2TP and WireGuard run as VPN server and client, and EasyMesh compatibility allows coverage to be extended with other EasyMesh routers and extenders.
Ideal For
Singapore flats and budget-conscious households moving to Wi-Fi 7 that want a 2.5G WAN port for a faster fibre plan without paying for multi-gig LAN. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty and GST invoice.
