TP-Link Archer TXE72E AXE5400 Wi-Fi 6E Bluetooth 5.3 PCIe Adapter
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link AXE5400 Wi-Fi 6E Bluetooth 5.3 PCIe Adapter (Archer TXE72E) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The Archer TXE72E is TP-Link's tri-band Wi-Fi 6E desktop card, adding 6 GHz, 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi plus Bluetooth to a PC over one PCI Express slot. Two high-gain tri-band antennas are supplied, along with a low-profile bracket and a Bluetooth header cable. It sits between the dual-band Archer TX3000E and the Wi-Fi 7 Archer TBE550E in TP-Link's desktop adapter range.
Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6E, Including 6 GHz
TP-Link publishes IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax support with link rates of up to 2402 Mbps on 6 GHz, up to 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz and up to 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz under 802.11ax, with 802.11ac at up to 1732 Mbps and legacy rates below that. The 6 GHz band is the point of Wi-Fi 6E: it is newer spectrum with far less legacy traffic on it. These are physical link rates from the IEEE specification, not guaranteed throughput, and every figure depends on the access point supporting the same features.
6 GHz Needs Windows 11
TP-Link publishes support for Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit only, and states plainly that the 6 GHz band is currently supported only on Windows 11. That is worth checking before ordering: on a Windows 10 machine the card runs as a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 adapter. If the PC is being built or upgraded to Windows 11 anyway, the 6 GHz band becomes available with no change of hardware.
Two High-Gain Tri-Band Antennas
The card ships with two high-gain tri-band antennas on a 0.3 m Bluetooth header cable arrangement, plus a low-profile bracket for slim cases. Published transmit power is 20 dBm FCC and 15 dBm CE on 5 GHz, 20 dBm FCC and 16 dBm CE on 2.4 GHz, and 12 dBm FCC on 6 GHz. TP-Link publishes no CE figure for the 6 GHz band and no antenna gain in dBi, so neither is stated here. Published wireless security is WEP, WPA/WPA2/WPA3 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK.
Bluetooth on the Same Card
Bluetooth 5.3 is carried on the board and connected to the motherboard with the supplied 0.3 m header cable, so keyboards, mice, headsets and controllers pair without a separate dongle. TP-Link names Bluetooth 5.3 in the product name and in its footnotes but publishes no Bluetooth specification rows at all for this model: no version row, no frequency, no transmit power, no profile list and no range. Those figures are left out here rather than taken from another adapter.
What TP-Link Publishes, and What It Does Not
There is no published bus-interface row for this card, so no lane count is claimed. TP-Link also publishes no chipset row, no MIMO configuration, no antenna gain, no power draw and no weight for the TXE72E, and no storage-temperature figure. Note too that the SG support site currently offers V2 drivers as the default while the SG specification page exists only for V1; every figure above is TP-Link's published V1 data. Ask us to confirm the hardware revision of current stock before you order against a fixed specification.
Ideal For
Singapore desktops and workstations paired with a Wi-Fi 6E router or access point, where the 6 GHz band is worth having for a clean channel, and for builds that want current Bluetooth on the same card. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and volume pricing on request.

Frequently Asked Questions — Archer TXE72E
Will I get the 6 GHz band on Windows 10?
No. TP-Link states that the 6 GHz band is currently supported on Windows 11 only. On Windows 10 the card works as a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 adapter on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
Do I need a Wi-Fi 6E router?
To use 6 GHz, yes. Against a Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 5 router the card falls back to the matching standard on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Ask us and we will match the card to a router or access point that suits the site.
What PCIe slot does it need?
A free PCI Express slot. TP-Link publishes no bus-interface row for this model, so we do not state a lane count - the card is supplied with both the standard and the low-profile bracket fitting in mind, and the low-profile bracket is in the box.
Is Bluetooth included, and which version?
Bluetooth is on the card and is connected with the supplied 0.3 m header cable. TP-Link names Bluetooth 5.3 in the product name but publishes no Bluetooth specification rows, so we quote the name and claim nothing further.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Three years local Singapore warranty. Every Archer TXE72E sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.
Can SourceIT quote this in volume?
Yes. Send us the quantity and we will quote, including for mixed builds where the desktops, switching and access points come from us as one order.
