PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link AX5400 Dual-Band Gigabit Wi-Fi 6 Router (Archer AX73) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The Archer AX73 is the higher-capacity sibling of the AX72: the same AX5400 six-stream radio design, but a 1.5 GHz triple-core processor, link aggregation across two LAN ports, and a published device count of 128 clients on 5 GHz and 96 on 2.4 GHz. That headroom is what separates it from the rest of the AX5400 family.
Rated for 128 Devices on 5 GHz and 96 on 2.4 GHz
TP-Link publishes an explicit client capacity for the AX73: 128 devices on the 5 GHz band and 96 on 2.4 GHz, double the AX72's published figures. If you are running a large household full of smart devices, a co-living unit, a studio or a small office where every staff phone, camera and printer sits on Wi-Fi, this is the number that matters more than headline throughput. Performance still varies with the applications and the physical environment.
AX5400 on Six Streams with 4×4 MU-MIMO
The 5 GHz radio is rated 4804 Mbps under 802.11ax with HE160; 2.4 GHz adds 574 Mbps. Six streams, 4×4 MU-MIMO and OFDMA let the router serve several Wi-Fi 6 clients within a single transmission window rather than queuing them, and 4T4R adds transmission fault tolerance. HE160 rates need a client that supports 160 MHz channels, and 160 MHz may be restricted on 5 GHz in some regions.
A 1.5 GHz Triple-Core Processor and Link Aggregation
A 1.5 GHz triple-core processor gives this model more routing, QoS and VPN headroom than the dual-core AX72. Wired networking is one Gigabit WAN port and four Gigabit LAN ports, with static link aggregation available across two of the LAN ports for a 2 Gbps trunk to a NAS that supports LAG. A USB 3.0 port shares NTFS, exFAT, HFS+ and FAT32 media over FTP, a media server or Samba, and supports Apple Time Machine.
WPA3, HomeShield, OneMesh and Three-Protocol VPN
Encryption covers WPA3, WPA2, WPA and WPA/WPA2-Enterprise with 802.1x. HomeShield adds real-time IoT protection, a malicious site blocker, intrusion prevention, DDoS attack prevention and a home network scanner, alongside the SPI firewall, access control, IP and MAC binding and an application layer gateway. OpenVPN, PPTP and L2TP run on both the server and the client side, and the AX73 is OneMesh-supported.
Six Antennas and Three-Bedroom Coverage
Six fixed high-performance antennas, Beamforming and a high-power front-end module deliver TP-Link's rated three-bedroom coverage in a 272.5 × 147.2 × 49.2 mm chassis. Airtime Fairness stops a slow legacy client from monopolising the channel, and DFS opens extra 5 GHz channels where regulations allow. Router mode and Access Point mode are both supported, so it can sit behind an existing ISP gateway. The Singapore page carries two hardware versions: V1, rated 12 V DC at 2.5 A, and V2, rated 12 V DC at 2 A.
Ideal For
Singapore homes, studios and small offices with a very high device count that want AX5400 wireless, MU-MIMO and LAG without multi-gig ports. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty and GST invoice.

TP-Link publishes no net weight for the Archer AX73. It is left out rather than taken from another model. TP-Link also notes this router may not support every mandatory feature ratified in Draft 3.0 of the IEEE 802.11ax specification, and that further software upgrades may be required for some features.

Frequently Asked Questions — Archer AX73
How does the AX73 differ from the AX72?
Same AX5400 six-stream radio, but the AX73 has a 1.5 GHz triple-core processor instead of a 1 GHz dual-core, adds link aggregation across two LAN ports, and is published for double the client count: 128 on 5 GHz against 64.
Can I bond two LAN ports to a NAS?
Yes, static link aggregation is supported across two LAN ports. Your NAS or switch must also support static LAG.
Does it support WPA3 and mesh?
Yes to WPA3, and the AX73 is OneMesh-supported, so a compatible TP-Link OneMesh extender joins it as one network.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Three years local Singapore warranty, under TP-Link's published replacement warranty terms, with a GST invoice.
Can SourceIT quote this for an office or a project?
Yes. Send us the quantity and we will quote with local warranty, delivery and support.
