TP-Link Archer TX55E AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 Bluetooth 5.2 PCIe Adapter
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 Bluetooth 5.2 PCIe Adapter (Archer TX55E) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The Archer TX55E is the compact Wi-Fi 6 desktop card in TP-Link's PCIe range: the same AX3000 rates as the larger TX3000E - 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz - on a 55 mm board with Bluetooth 5.2 rather than 5.0. Its two high-gain antennas mount on the bracket rather than on a cabled base, which suits a case that already sits on the desk.
AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 on an Intel Chipset
TP-Link publishes 2402 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, running 802.11ax with fallback to 802.11ac, n, a, g and b. Modulation goes up to 1024-QAM, which is where the Wi-Fi 6 rate increase over 802.11ac comes from, and the radio runs on an Intel Wi-Fi 6 chipset. These are physical link rates from the IEEE specification; TP-Link footnotes that actual throughput, coverage and device count are not guaranteed and vary with network conditions.
Bluetooth 5.2, One Version Ahead of the TX3000E
The TX55E carries Bluetooth 5.2 with backward support for 5.0, 4.2 and 4.0 - a step up from the Bluetooth 5.0 on TP-Link's larger TX3000E card. Bluetooth is presented to the system over a USB 2.0 interface, and a standard Bluetooth header cable is supplied to connect the card to the motherboard's internal USB header. That covers headsets, keyboards, mice and controllers without a dongle taking up a rear USB port.
A Genuinely Small Card for Tight Builds
At 55 x 36 x 11.5 mm the TX55E board is a fraction of the size of the 95 x 121 mm TX3000E, so it clears tall coolers and dense cable runs in small cases. A low-profile bracket is supplied in the box alongside the standard one, so the card fits slim and small-form-factor chassis as well as full towers. Two high-gain dual-band antennas screw directly onto the bracket.
WPA3, 802.1x and HE160 Channels
Security covers WPA3 as well as WPA and WPA2, WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK, legacy 64/128-bit WEP, and 802.1x for enterprise SSIDs that authenticate against a RADIUS server. TP-Link publishes reception-sensitivity figures down to HE160, so the card can use 160 MHz channels where the router offers them - the single biggest contributor to the 2402 Mbps figure. TP-Link footnotes that Wi-Fi 6 features including OFDMA, MU-MIMO, HE160 and 1024-QAM require the access point to support them too.
Ideal For
Singapore desktop builds that need Wi-Fi 6 and current-generation Bluetooth in a small case, and anyone replacing a USB dongle with something permanent. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and volume pricing on request.

Frequently Asked Questions — Archer TX55E
How is this different from the Archer TX3000E?
Same AX3000 speeds and the same Intel Wi-Fi 6 chipset. The TX55E is much smaller (55 mm against 95 mm), carries Bluetooth 5.2 instead of 5.0, and mounts its antennas on the bracket. The TX3000E puts its antennas on a magnetised base with a 1 m cable, which helps when the tower sits on the floor.
Will it work on Windows 11?
TP-Link publishes Windows 10 (64-bit) as the only system requirement for this model, so we do not claim Windows 11 support. Check the driver list on the TP-Link support page linked above before buying for a Windows 11 machine.
Will it fit a small-form-factor case?
Yes. The board is 55 x 36 x 11.5 mm and a low-profile bracket is supplied in the box alongside the standard one.
What warranty does SourceIT provide?
Three years local Singapore warranty. Every Archer TX55E sold by SourceIT comes with a GST invoice.
Can SourceIT quote this in volume?
Yes. Send us the quantity and we will quote, including for mixed builds where the desktops, switching and access points come from us as one order.
