TP-Link Archer TX20U Plus AX1800 Dual Antennas High Gain Wireless USB Adapter
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link AX1800 Dual Antennas High Gain Wireless USB Adapter (Archer TX20U Plus) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The Archer TX20U Plus is the reach-focused Wi-Fi 6 adapter in TP-Link's Singapore USB range: two high-gain dual-band antennas, a 1-meter USB 3.0 Cable in the box, and a full published reception-sensitivity table. Published rates are up to 1201 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. It is built for the room furthest from the access point.
High-Gain Antennas and a Published Sensitivity Table
TP-Link publishes reception sensitivity of -90 dBm at 11ax HE80 MCS0 and -92 dBm at 11ac VHT80 MCS0 on 5 GHz, and -94 dBm at 11ax HE40 MCS0 on 2.4 GHz. Two high-gain dual-band antennas are fitted, with a status LED on the body. Where signal rather than headline speed is the constraint, those sensitivity figures are the reason to specify this model.
One-Metre USB 3.0 Cable Included
TP-Link lists a 1-meter USB 3.0 Cable in the package contents alongside the adapter and the Quick Installation Guide. Moving the adapter out from behind a metal desktop tower, off a cluttered rear panel and into clear air routinely delivers a larger real-world improvement than any configuration change. TP-Link's overview copy describes the product as SuperSpeed USB 3.0, up to 10x faster transfer speeds than USB 2.0. The antennas fold and rotate so they can be aimed at the access point once the adapter is positioned.
AX1800 Dual-Band Rates and Transmit Power
Published signal rates are up to 1201 Mbps at 5 GHz under 802.11ax, with 867 Mbps 11ac, 300 Mbps 11n and 54 Mbps 11a fallbacks; on 2.4 GHz, 574 Mbps under 802.11ax and 400 Mbps under 802.11n. Transmission power is published per band and per regulatory domain: 19 dBm (FCC) / 21.5 dBm (CE) (EIRP) at 5 GHz, and 19 dBm (FCC) / 18.5 dBm (CE) (EIRP) at 2.4 GHz. Published rates are physical-layer maximums, not measured throughput.
Security, Operating Systems and Certification
Published security covers WEP, WPA/WPA2/WPA3 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK, so WPA3 networks are supported. Published system requirements are Windows 10 and 11; no macOS version is published for this model. Certification is published as FCC, CE, RoHS. TP-Link notes that use of Wi-Fi 6 and other features, including OFDMA and MU-MIMO, requires your APs to also support the corresponding features. The hardware version is V1.
Ideal For
Singapore desktop users and small offices on Windows where the machine sits well away from the router — a back bedroom, a corner office, a metal-cased workstation under a desk — and reach matters more than form factor. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and volume pricing on request.

TP-Link publishes no Interface row and no net weight for this model, so neither is stated here — although a 1-meter USB 3.0 Cable is listed in the package contents.
Transmission power is published as two separate regulatory-domain figures for each band, one FCC and one CE. Both are reproduced exactly as published; they are ratings for the same hardware under different regulatory regimes, not a change of specification.

Frequently Asked Questions — Archer TX20U Plus
What do the high-gain antennas and the cable add?
TP-Link publishes two high-gain dual-band antennas, a full reception-sensitivity table and a 1-meter USB 3.0 Cable in the box for this model. At 84 x 156.3 x 19.2 mm it needs desk or shelf space rather than sitting flush against the machine.
Why are two transmission-power figures listed for each band?
TP-Link publishes a separate FCC and CE figure per band: 19dBm(FCC) / 21.5dBm(CE) (EIRP) at 5 GHz and 19dBm(FCC) / 18.5dBm(CE) (EIRP) at 2.4 GHz. These are ratings for the same hardware under two regulatory regimes.
Does it work on a Mac?
TP-Link publishes Windows 10 and 11 only for this model. No macOS version is published for this model.
Does it support WPA3?
Yes. The published security row lists WEP, WPA/WPA2/WPA3 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK.
What warranty applies in Singapore?
3 Years Local Warranty (Singapore). TP-Link Singapore's replacement-warranty policy states a three-year default and does not list USB wireless adapters among its exception categories.
Can SourceIT quote quantity?
Yes. Send the quantity and we will quote with local warranty, GST invoice and delivery in Singapore.
