TP-Link Archer AX10 AX1500 Wi-Fi 6 Router
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link AX1500 Wi-Fi 6 Router (Archer AX10) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The Archer AX10 is the entry point to Wi-Fi 6 in TP-Link's Archer range: 1201 Mbps on 5 GHz with 802.11ax, 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz with 802.11n, five Gigabit ports and four fixed antennas — all driven by a 1.5 GHz triple-core processor that is unusually capable for the price. It supports WPA3, OneMesh and EasyMesh.
AX1500: Wi-Fi 6 on the 5 GHz Band
TP-Link rates the AX10 at 1201 Mbps on 5 GHz using 802.11ax and 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz using 802.11n. It is worth being clear about that split: the Wi-Fi 6 speed applies to the 5 GHz band, while 2.4 GHz runs the older 802.11n standard. For a Singapore flat on a 500 Mbps or 1 Gbps plan where most modern devices sit on 5 GHz, that is the band that matters, and the Archer AX23 is the step up if 802.11ax on 2.4 GHz is required.
A 1.5 GHz Triple-Core Processor
The AX10 publishes a 1.5 GHz triple-core CPU, which is what keeps NAT, QoS and a full house of clients from bogging it down. Four streams with OFDMA let the router serve several Wi-Fi 6 clients within a single transmission slot, and Airtime Fairness prevents a slow legacy device from holding the channel longer than it needs. Power draw is modest at 12 V DC, 1 A.
Four Fixed Antennas, Beamforming, Five Gigabit Ports
Coverage comes from four fixed high-performance antennas and Beamforming, rated by TP-Link at two-to-three-bedroom houses. The wired side is one Gigabit WAN port and four Gigabit LAN ports. Buttons are WPS/Wi-Fi, power on/off and reset. TP-Link publishes no USB port for this model, so it is not a file-sharing or Time Machine host.
WPA3, OneMesh and EasyMesh
Published encryption is WPA, WPA2, WPA3 and WPA/WPA2-Enterprise with 802.1x, alongside an SPI firewall, access control, IP and MAC binding and an application layer gateway. The router runs OpenVPN and PPTP server roles. TP-Link publishes both OneMesh support and EasyMesh compatibility, so coverage can be extended later with a compatible extender rather than replacing the router. Parental controls are the basic set — URL filtering and time controls — with QoS by device.
Access Point Mode for an Existing Gateway
Working modes are Router and Access Point, so the AX10 can replace an ISP-supplied router entirely or sit behind one and handle only the wireless side — a common arrangement where the ISP's box has to stay in place for TV or voice services. TP-Link's specification table for the Archer AX10 publishes no MU-MIMO row, no VPN client row and no HomeShield service kit; no claim is made here for any of them.
Ideal For
Singapore households making a first move to Wi-Fi 6 on a budget, who want WPA3, a genuinely capable processor and the option to mesh later. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty and GST invoice.
