TP-Link Archer T3U AC1300 Mini Wireless MU-MIMO USB Adapter
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
TP-Link AC1300 Mini Wireless MU-MIMO USB Adapter (Archer T3U) - 3 Years Local Warranty
The Archer T3U is TP-Link's mini-format AC1300 dual-band adapter: 40.5 x 19.72 x 10.29 mm, omni-directional antenna and a USB 3.0 connector. It is rated at up to 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and up to 400 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, and it is compact enough to stay permanently in a notebook port. Supplied by SourceIT in Singapore with local warranty and GST invoice.
Dual-Band AC1300 in a Mini Body
TP-Link rates the Archer T3U at up to 867 Mbps (dynamic) on 5 GHz under 802.11ac and up to 400 Mbps (dynamic) on 2.4 GHz under 802.11n, with 802.11a, b, g and n fallbacks for older networks. The point of this model is the size-to-speed ratio: it occupies a fraction of the volume of an antenna-equipped adapter while carrying the same AC1300 class rating. Rated speeds are physical-layer maximums derived from the IEEE 802.11 standard, not measured throughput; actual results vary with environment, network conditions and access-point limitations.
Reception Sensitivity Published for Both Bands
Sensitivity figures are published in full for this model, which makes it straightforward to compare on data rather than on class names. On 5 GHz the figures run from -91 dBm for 11a at 6 Mbps to -62 dBm at 11ac HT80; on 2.4 GHz from -86 dBm for 11b at 11 Mbps to -70 dBm at 11n HT40. Transmission power is rated at <23 dBm (EIRP). The complete band-by-band table is reproduced in the Technical Specifications section.
Super Speed USB 3.0 Connection
The adapter connects over USB 3.0, keeping the host link clear of the wireless link — TP-Link describes it as up to 10x faster transfer speeds than USB 2.0. That figure is based on USB-IF testing and assumes the computer also supports USB 3.0; on a USB 2.0 port the host connection becomes the constraint before the wireless link does. Modulation is published as DBPSK, DQPSK, CCK, OFDM, 16-QAM, 64-QAM and 256-QAM. MU-MIMO is supported, and requires access points that also support MU-MIMO.
Check the Operating-System and Security List Before Ordering
System requirements for the Archer T3U are Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7 and XP plus an unversioned "Mac OS X". A Windows driver covering WinXP/Win7/Win8/Win8.1/Win10/Win11 and a Mac driver covering MAC 10.9~10.14 are also published, and a Windows 11 driver is available for this model. Wireless security is 64/128 bit WEP, WPA/WPA2 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK; WPA3 is not published for this model, so tell us if your network is WPA3-only.
Ideal For
Singapore notebook users who want a dual-band upgrade that can stay plugged in permanently, and desktop users short of clearance behind the machine for an antenna adapter. A practical replacement for a failed or single-band built-in card on a supported Windows build. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty, GST invoice and volume pricing on request.

Frequently Asked Questions — Archer T3U
How small is it?
40.5 x 19.72 x 10.29 mm (1.59 x 0.78 x 0.41 in.). It protrudes only slightly from a notebook port, so it can be left in place.
How fast is it?
AC1300 class: up to 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and up to 400 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. These are physical-layer rates derived from the IEEE 802.11 standard, not guaranteed throughput.
Does it support Windows 11 or WPA3?
Windows 11 is not named in the published system requirements (Windows 10/8.1/8/7/XP and Mac OS X), but a Windows driver covering Win11 is published in TP-Link's Singapore download centre. WPA3 is not published for this model — the security row is 64/128 bit WEP, WPA/WPA2 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK.
Will it run at full speed on a USB 2.0 port?
The USB 3.0 figures assume a USB 3.0 host port. On USB 2.0 the host connection limits throughput before the wireless link does.
What warranty applies in Singapore?
3 Years Local Warranty (Singapore). TP-Link Singapore's replacement-warranty policy states a three-year default and does not list USB wireless adapters among its exception categories.
Can SourceIT quote quantity?
Yes. Send the quantity and we will quote with local warranty, GST invoice and delivery in Singapore.
