The QB24C is the size you use when a full signage panel will not fit: a service counter, a teller window, a reception desk, a self-service kiosk enclosure or a meeting-room door. The QB24C uses a 100 x 100 mm VESA pattern and weighs 3.0 kg, which opens up mounting options a larger panel rules out: monitor arms, counter posts, joinery brackets, kiosk enclosures and partition fixings. Landscape and portrait are both supported, so a tall queue-number strip, a meeting-room door plate or a narrow shelf-edge position is a normal installation rather than a workaround. The set is 31.8 mm deep and carries an IP5X dust rating on the chassis, which suits counter and retail environments that are not sealed offices.
What it connects to
One HDMI 1.4 input accepts a laptop, a thin client or a local source at up to 1,920 x 1,080, and one USB port takes local media for direct playback. Audio leaves through a stereo mini jack if the position needs sound. For wired control there is RS232C and an IR input, so an integrator can drive power and source selection from a kiosk controller or a queue management system rather than relying on the remote.

Is the QB24C a touchscreen?
This part number, LH24QBCEBGCXXS, is the standard non-touch QB24C. Samsung's interactive version of this size is the QB24C-T, a separate model with its own part number. If your application needs on-screen touch input - a self-service selector or a check-in station - tell us and we will quote the touch variant instead so you get the right panel for the job.
Does it need an external media player?
No. Tizen 7.0 runs on the display with 8 GB of onboard storage, so it plays scheduled content on its own. Samsung VXT gives you cloud scheduling and SmartThings Pro gives you remote power, status and firmware management. For counter and kiosk placements this is the main reason to choose a signage panel over a monitor: there is nowhere to put a player anyway.
Can it run all day, every day?
Samsung rates the QB24C for 16 hours a day, seven days a week. That suits branch, counter, clinic and retail opening hours. It is not a 24/7 rating, so for a position that genuinely never switches off, ask us about a 24/7-rated Samsung series.
Will it mount in portrait?
Yes. It uses a 100 x 100 mm VESA pattern and supports landscape and portrait, which is what you want for a queue-number strip, a meeting-room door plate or a narrow counter position. At 3.0 kg it is light enough for arms, joinery brackets and partition fixings that would not take a larger panel.
Is 250 nit bright enough at a counter?
250 nit is specified for indoor use at close range - a counter, a desk, a kiosk face or a door plate, where the viewer is within a metre or two and the panel is not fighting daylight. It is not a shopfront specification. If the screen will face a glazed frontage, tell us the orientation and we will propose a brighter model.
What connections does it have?
One HDMI 1.4 input, one USB port, RJ45, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. For control there is RS232C and an IR input. The wireless networking matters at counters, where a data drop is often not available and running one is disruptive.
What do the letters in LH24QBCEBGCXXS mean?
LH marks a commercial display, 24 is the screen size, QBC is the series, and the trailing letters identify the variant and the regional model.
