PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Poly Studio E60 Smart Camera 4K MPTZ 12x Optical Zoom (9W1A6AA) - Local Warranty
Poly Studio E60 4K MPTZ Smart Camera with 12x Optical Zoom
The Poly Studio E60 is a professional smart camera built on a 1/2.8-inch CMOS dual-lens design with a motorised pan-tilt-zoom head and 12x optical zoom — real lens reach, not digital cropping. HP rates it for large rooms of 10 or more people, with camera range to 10 m (32.8 ft), and certifies it for Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Tencent. It connects over IP or USB, so it suits both Poly codec rooms and Windows or Android room PCs.
Motorised 12x Optical PTZ with Presenter Tracking
A motorised head pans ±170° and tilts ±30° with auto focus and 12x optical zoom, capturing 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) at 30 fps. Poly DirectorAI adds group framing and presenter tracking, using the 107° panoramic lens to keep situational awareness while the 71° PTZ camera follows the presenter. For classrooms, lecture theatres and long boardrooms, this is the camera that reaches the far end of the room.
Flexible IP or USB Attachment with PoE+
One RJ-45 port at 10/100/1000 Mbps carries IP video and PoE+ power, or connect over USB-B to a room PC with the supplied 2 m cable. That flexibility means the same camera works on a Poly Studio G62 today and on a Teams Rooms PC tomorrow, without buying different hardware. A Kensington lock slot secures it in shared spaces.
Practical to Install in Singapore Rooms
At 20 x 15 x 16.5 cm and 1.79 kg the E60 sits neatly on a monitor, wall or ceiling; a wall mount kit, a 5 m Ethernet cable and an IR remote control are all in the box, with ceiling and display mounts available separately. Supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice.

Compatibility & Software Support
Certified collaboration platforms. HP lists the Poly Studio E60 as certified for Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Tencent — one of the broadest certification sets in the Poly camera range.
Operating systems. HP lists Android and Windows compatibility.
IP or USB attachment. The E60 works over IP (RJ-45, 10/100/1000 Mbps with PoE+) or over USB-B to a room PC. A Poly codec is not required. HP documents connecting the E60 as an IP camera to a Poly Studio G62.
Presenter tracking and DirectorAI. The dual-lens design pairs a 107° panoramic view with a 71° motorised PTZ camera, so DirectorAI can hold a wide situational shot while the PTZ head follows a presenter across the front of a classroom or training room.
In the room. An IR remote control is supplied for manual pan, tilt and zoom, alongside the automatic framing modes.
Poly Lens management. Poly Studio devices are managed centrally through Poly Lens cloud-based device management for monitoring, provisioning and firmware updates.

Frequently Asked Questions — Poly Studio E60
Is the E60's 12x zoom optical or digital?
Optical. HP specifies 12x optical zoom on a motorised pan-tilt-zoom head — pan ±170°, tilt ±30°, with auto focus. That is real lens reach, not cropping, which is why the E60 holds detail at its full 10 m (32.8 ft) range. Most other cameras in the Poly Studio range, including the Studio E70, use digital zoom only.
Does the Studio E60 include speakers or room microphones?
No. The E60 has a two-element beamforming microphone array, but HP is explicit that it exists to enable speaker tracking and will not capture or store personal conversations — it is not a conferencing microphone. There are no speakers. Pair the E60 with a host system that provides room audio, such as a Poly Studio G62, or a Teams Rooms / Zoom Rooms PC with a separate speakerphone.
Do I need a Poly codec, a room PC or a licence?
No Poly codec is required. HP states the E60 connects over IP or over USB, so it works either as an IP camera on a Poly Studio G62 or G7500, or as a USB camera to a Windows or Android room PC. You will still need the meeting-platform licence for the room account. For a single device that includes camera, audio and compute in one, see the Poly Studio X70.
How does the E60 compare with the Studio E70?
The E70 is a fixed dual-lens camera with two 20 MP 4K sensors, 7.3x digital zoom and a 7.62 m range — excellent for wide rooms where you want instant electronic framing with no moving parts. The E60 trades that for a motorised 12x optical PTZ head, a 107° panoramic second lens and a longer 10 m range, plus presenter tracking. Long rooms, lecture theatres and classrooms favour the E60; wide boardrooms favour the E70.
What room size and mounting options suit the E60?
HP rates it for large rooms of 10 or more people — large conference rooms, boardrooms and classrooms — with camera range to 10 m. A wall mount is included; the Studio E60 Ceiling Mount (9W1A8AA) and the EagleEye IV HDCI mounting bracket (89L88AA) are available separately, the latter being useful when you are replacing an older EagleEye camera on an existing bracket.
How is the E60 powered?
Either from its 12 V AC/DC supply or over Ethernet using a PoE+ injector — the RJ-45 port is 10/100/1000 Mbps with PoE+/PSE support. HP does not publish a PoE class number for this model, so specify a standard PoE+ (802.3at) injector or switch port. A Kensington lock slot is provided for open or shared rooms.
Is local Singapore warranty included?
Yes. Every Poly Studio E60 sold by SourceIT comes with local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice.
