The ThinkVision P24q-30 pairs a dense 2560 x 1440 panel — 123 dpi at 23.8 inches — with a published factory calibration of average Delta E under 2 and a printed calibration report in the box. For colour-sensitive work on a compact desk, that combination is the reason this model exists.
Read This Before You Order: There Is No USB-C at All
The P24q-30 has no USB-C port of any kind, and no Ethernet. Its USB hub is fed by a conventional USB-B upstream cable. If you are cross-shopping it against the P24QD-40 or P24h-2L and assuming a P-series monitor docks a laptop, it does not. Both docking alternatives are linked in the ordering table below.
A DisplayPort Output and a Four-Port Hub
What it does have: HDMI 2.1 TMDS and DisplayPort 1.4 inputs, a DisplayPort output for chaining a second display, four downstream USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports with one BC 1.2 fast-charge port, and a full ergonomic stand with 155 mm of lift, 45° swivel and 90° pivot.
Where This Monitor Belongs
On a desk with a desktop PC or a workstation, doing work where colour has to be right: design, marketing production, photo review, print preparation. It is a calibrated panel first and a connectivity hub second — and priced accordingly. For a laptop-first desk, buy a docking model instead.

Compatibility & Fit
What actually separates the P-series from the T-series. Lenovo's own marketing puts the P-series under "Best-in-Class Performance for Leading Professionals" and the T-series under "Enhanced Productivity for Modern Taskers", but it never states in prose that colour accuracy is the dividing line. The evidence is in the specification sheets instead: most P-series models publish a factory calibration figure of Delta E under 2 and ship a printed calibration report in the box, and T-series models do not. That is the difference we are willing to stand behind, and it is why this page cites the per-model figure rather than a slogan.
The calibration is what you are paying for. Lenovo publishes average Delta E under 2 for this panel and puts the measurement report in the box. In practice that means what you see is close enough to correct that colour decisions made on this screen hold up when the work leaves it — without you buying a colorimeter or learning to use one.
And here is what it deliberately is not. There is no USB-C and no Ethernet on this monitor. A laptop connects over HDMI or DisplayPort for the picture and a separate USB-B cable for the hub, and charges from its own adapter. That is a perfectly normal way to run a desktop PC, and an awkward one for a laptop-first desk. If your users dock and undock daily, the P24QD-40 gives you the same size and resolution with a 140 W dock, 2.5-gigabit Ethernet and an eKVM — it is linked above.
123 dpi on a 23.8-inch panel. This is a denser screen than QHD at 27 inches and much denser than Full HD at the same size. Text is sharp at 100% scaling. For anyone looking closely at type, images or fine detail on a compact desk, that density does as much for the experience as the calibration does.
Chaining a second display. The DisplayPort output lets you run a second screen from this monitor. Lenovo publishes the port but no chain limit — ask us if you are planning three or more.

Does it have USB-C docking?
No. The P24q-30 has no USB-C port at all, and no Ethernet. Its USB hub connects to the PC over a conventional USB-B cable, and a laptop would charge from its own adapter. If one-cable docking is what you need, the P24QD-40 is the same size and resolution with a 140 W USB-C dock, 2.5-gigabit Ethernet and an eKVM switch.
How accurate is the colour?
Lenovo publishes average Delta E under 2 for this model and ships a printed calibration report in the box. Note that Lenovo publishes no DCI-P3 figure for this panel — it states 99% sRGB and 99% BT.709 coverage. For sRGB-space work that is exactly right; for wide-gamut work the P27h-30 (95% DCI-P3) or the P27QD-40 (98% DCI-P3) are the models to look at.
What does "factory calibrated" actually mean here?
It means Lenovo calibrated this panel on the production line, measured the result and put a printed report in the box — so the monitor is accurate out of the carton without you buying a colorimeter. What it does not mean is hardware calibration: Lenovo publishes no hardware-calibration support for any ThinkVision P-series model, so you cannot write a new calibration into the monitor's own lookup table later. For most design, marketing and video-review work the factory calibration is what matters; for a print house that recalibrates monthly, it is worth a conversation before you order.
Can I run a second monitor from it?
Yes, over the DisplayPort output. Lenovo publishes the port but states no maximum chain length, so if you are planning three or more displays, ask us to confirm the topology first.
What warranty applies in Singapore?
Lenovo PSREF states a 3-year limited warranty as the base warranty for this model, and every unit SourceIT sells comes with local Singapore warranty support and a GST invoice.
