The HPE Networking Instant On 1960 48G 2XGT 2SFP+ Switch (JL808A) is a smart-managed Layer 2+ switch from HPE's Instant On range, the small-business line designed to be deployed and run without a dedicated IT team. It provides 48 x 10/100/1000 RJ-45 ports plus 2 x 10GBASE-T and 2 x 10GbE SFP+ uplinks, with a switching capacity of 176 Gbps and throughput of 131 Mpps.
HPE positions the 1960 series at the top of the Instant On switch range, for businesses that have outgrown a single switch and need 10GbE uplinks, stacking and basic Layer 3 routing while keeping Instant On's simple app-based management.
True Stacking of up to Four Switches
Up to four Instant On 1960 switches can be stacked and managed as a single unit, and HPE supports cloud-managed stacking set up directly from the Instant On mobile app. Access and aggregation models can be mixed in the same stack, so a 1960 12XGT 4SFP+ can sit at the core with 24- and 48-port access switches beneath it.
48-Port Access with Four 10GbE Uplinks
The 48G 2XGT 2SFP+ brings 48 Gigabit ports into a single 1U switch, with two copper 10GBASE-T and two SFP+ uplinks to connect it to servers, storage or a 1960 aggregation switch. It has no PoE and runs from an internal power supply.
Layer 2+ Features with Static Routing
HPE lists static IPv4/IPv6 routing (32 routes), VLANs, access control lists (up to 960 ACEs), QoS, IEEE 802.1X and MAC authentication and port security, so guest, staff, voice and IoT traffic can be kept apart and routed between VLANs without a separate router.
Supplied in Singapore with a Limited Lifetime Warranty
