Ultra-Compact Dual-Path Scanner for the Front Desk
The Ricoh fi-800R is a compact A4 duplex scanner that measures just 296 x 105 x 83 mm. It scans at 40 pages per minute simplex and 80 images per minute duplex (A4, 200/300 dpi) through a 20-sheet ADF and is rated by Ricoh for an expected daily volume of 4,500 sheets.
Return Scan for Cards, Passports and Thick Items
Alongside the ADF, a manual Return Scan path handles plastic cards up to 1.4 mm, booklets such as passports up to 5 mm thick and paper from 20 to 413 g/m², scanning each item in 3.5 seconds (200/300 dpi). It is designed for fast customer onboarding at service counters.
Accurate Feeding in a Small Footprint
Two CIS sensors with RGB LED light sources capture both sides in one pass at 600 dpi optical resolution. Ultrasonic overlap detection helps catch multifeeds, and the ADF accepts 20 sheets of A4 80 g/m² or 30 sheets of A4 52 g/m².
USB 3.2 with Windows, macOS and Linux Drivers
The fi-800R connects by USB 3.2 Gen1x1. PaperStream IP (TWAIN/ISIS), WIA, macOS (ICA) and Linux (SANE) drivers are supported, and PaperStream Capture and PaperStream ClickScan are supplied for scanning workflows.
