Ergotron MX Mini Wall Arm Polished Aluminium
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Ergotron MX Mini Wall Arm Polished Aluminium (45-437-026) - 10 Years Local Warranty
Long Reach and Big Lift for Light Displays and Tablets
The Ergotron MX Mini Wall Arm is purpose-built for screens up to 24″ weighing no more than 8 lbs (3.6 kg) — light monitors, tablets and touch panels. What it lacks in capacity it makes up in movement: 19.5″ (49.5 cm) of extension and 13″ (33 cm) of lift, both meaningfully greater than Ergotron's heavier MX desk arm delivers. Pull the screen well out from the wall when it is in use, then fold it back flush when it is not.
Full 360° Pan and Rotation with Orientation Lockout
The arm pans a full 360°, tilts 95° in total (90° up, 5° down) and rotates 360° between portrait and landscape with a portrait/landscape lockout. That lockout is the detail that matters in public-facing installations — you commission the screen in the orientation you want and it stays there, rather than drifting out of position with use.
Made for Point-of-Sale, Kiosk, Clinical and Reception
Wall-mounting a light display frees the counter or bench entirely and keeps the screen out of the way of spills and clutter — which is why the MX Mini turns up so consistently in Singapore retail point-of-sale, F&B ordering kiosks, clinic consultation rooms, reception desks and lab benches. Cables stay hidden under the arm, so the installation reads as fitted rather than improvised.
Cycle-Tested and Backed 10 Years
Ergotron builds the MX Mini for thousands of movements and has passed it through a 10,000-cycle test — the relevant benchmark when a screen is repositioned many times a day by many different hands in a public environment. It is backed by Ergotron's 10-year manufacturer warranty, and SourceIT supplies it with local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice.
Polished Aluminium, Neat Installation
Polished aluminium gives a clean, professional finish appropriate to customer-facing spaces, and the supplied wall plate keeps the fixing tidy. Note that tablets require a tablet-specific VESA enclosure, which is not included — tell SourceIT which device you are mounting and we will quote the right holder with the arm.

Ergotron footnote: LCD size may be exceeded as long as screen weight does not exceed the maximum weight capacity.
Compatibility & Fit
The Ergotron MX Mini Wall Arm is rated for one display up to 24″ weighing a maximum of 8 lbs (3.6 kg). Unlike the heavier MX arms, Ergotron publishes a single maximum here rather than a range — there is no minimum load to worry about, which is exactly why this arm suits tablets and very light panels that would not work on a counter-balanced heavy-duty arm.
The weight limit is the binding constraint, not the screen size. Ergotron's own footnote says the 24″ figure may be exceeded provided the screen weight stays within 3.6 kg. In practice almost nothing above 24″ comes in under 3.6 kg, so treat 8 lbs as the real ceiling and weigh the display — including its VESA bracket — before ordering.
VESA fit: VESA MIS-D, covering 75 x 75 mm to 100 x 100 mm. Tablets need a tablet-specific VESA enclosure or holder, which is not included — tell SourceIT which tablet and generation you are mounting and we will quote the right enclosure with the arm.
Mounting: wall only. The wall plate is supplied. Ergotron does not publish stud spacing or fastener specifications for this model on its datasheet, so for Singapore's typical construction — reinforced concrete, brick and lightweight partition walls — confirm the substrate before installation. Concrete and solid brick take standard anchors; hollow drywall partitions need a stud or a backing plate. If in doubt, ask SourceIT and we will advise on fixing.
Rotation lockout: the MX Mini's 360° rotation includes a portrait/landscape lockout — useful in kiosk, point-of-sale, clinical and reception installations where the orientation should stay fixed once set and not be casually changed by the public or by passing staff.
Number of screens: one. For a heavier wall-mounted display see the MX Wall Monitor Arm (45-228-026) or the MXV Wall Monitor Arm (45-505-026).

Frequently Asked Questions — Ergotron MX Mini Wall Arm
What is the actual weight and size limit?
Ergotron rates the MX Mini Wall Arm at a maximum of 8 lbs (3.6 kg) on a display of up to 24″. Ergotron notes the screen-size figure may be exceeded as long as the weight stays inside 3.6 kg — so weigh the display, brackets included, and treat 8 lbs as the hard limit.
Can I mount a tablet on it, and is the holder included?
Yes, the MX Mini is designed for tablets as well as light monitors — but the arm ships with standard VESA hardware, not a tablet enclosure. You will need a tablet-specific VESA holder for your device. Tell SourceIT the tablet model and generation and we will quote the right enclosure alongside the arm.
How far does it reach, and how much height adjustment does it give?
It extends up to 19.5″ (49.5 cm) and gives 13″ (33 cm) of lift — notably more of both than the heavier MX Desk arm, which manages 17″ of extension and 5″ of lift. For a small display that needs to swing well out from the wall and then fold back flat, the MX Mini is the stronger performer.
What does the portrait/landscape lockout do?
The arm rotates a full 360°, and the lockout lets you fix the orientation once you have set it. In kiosk, point-of-sale, clinical and reception installations that is a practical benefit — the screen stays as commissioned rather than being nudged out of position by the public or by passing staff.
What wall can it be fitted to?
The wall plate is supplied, but Ergotron does not publish stud spacing or fastener specifications for this model. Reinforced concrete and solid brick — common in Singapore — take standard anchors. Hollow partition walls need a stud or a backing plate behind the plasterboard. Send SourceIT a description of the wall and we will advise on the fixing before installation.
Do I need a VESA adapter?
For a monitor, usually not — the arm covers VESA MIS-D, 75 x 75 mm to 100 x 100 mm. Displays with no VESA pattern, and all tablets, need a separate holder or adapter plate.
How does it compare with the MX Wall Monitor Arm?
They solve different problems. The MX Mini is for light displays and tablets — 8 lbs, up to 24″ — with long reach and lots of lift. The MX Wall Monitor Arm (45-228-026) is the heavy-duty wall arm, rated 14–30 lbs (6.3–13.6 kg) for displays up to 42″. Choose by the weight of the screen, not by the room.
Does the Ergotron MX Mini Wall Arm come with a Singapore warranty?
Yes. Every Ergotron MX Mini Wall Arm sold by SourceIT comes with local Singapore warranty and a GST invoice; Ergotron backs the MX Mini Wall Arm with a 10-year manufacturer warranty.
