The Eaton HotSwap MBP MBP6KIG2 is a maintenance bypass for the 9PX Gen2 (5/6 kVA) and 9SX Gen2 (5/6 kVA). It lets you transfer connected equipment to utility power so the UPS can be serviced, replaced or upgraded without an outage — useful for Singapore server rooms and branch sites where a shutdown window is hard to get.
Outlets on the Bypass, Not the UPS
Loads plug into the MBP (2 x IEC C13 + 3 x IEC C39, plus 1 hardwired output) rather than into the UPS, so the UPS itself can be swapped out while equipment stays connected and powered.
19-Inch, 3U Installation
Eaton lists the MBP6KIG2 as a 482.6 mm (19-inch), 3U device with a rack-mounting kit included, operating from 0 to 40 °C.

Eaton lists no communication interface on the MBP; monitoring and shutdown remain with the UPS and its Eaton software or network card.

2 x IEC C13 + 3 x IEC C39 plus 1 hardwired output. IEC outlets are not BS 1363 (Type G) sockets; hardwired connections should be made by a licensed electrician.
