Build a Redundant 1+1 9SX Pair with Maintenance Bypass
The Eaton MBP20KPARA is Eaton's 1+1 parallel version of the 9SX 15/20 kVA maintenance bypass. It connects two 9SX power modules (cables to UPS1 and UPS2 are included) and is rated 40 kVA / 40 kW, giving a redundant or capacity-parallel pair with a rotary maintenance bypass switch so either UPS can be serviced while the load stays up.
Terminal Output for Hardwired Distribution
Output is on terminal blocks in two segments — one non-programmable and one programmable — for connection to a downstream distribution board or rack PDUs. There are no IEC sockets on this model.
Rack or Tower, 3U, 19-inch
Like the 9SX 15/20 kVA power module, the bypass is rack/tower installable, 3U high and 438 mm wide, with IP20 protection and a 0–50 °C operating range. Eaton's Singapore price list notes that one set of 733-82048 rail kit must be purchased for rack mounting.
