Service or Replace Your UPS Without Shutting Down
The Eaton HotSwap MBP (MBP3KI) is a 1U maintenance bypass that sits between the mains, your UPS and your IT loads. Turn the rotary bypass switch and the connected equipment stays powered from the mains while the UPS is serviced, hot-swapped or upgraded, so Singapore server rooms and network cabinets avoid a planned outage.
IEC Outlets Ready for Rack Equipment
This IEC version is rated 3000 VA at 200–240 V and provides 6 x IEC C13 plus 1 x IEC C19 outputs from an IEC C20 input. Eaton specifies retaining clips on the IEC output sockets, colour-coded input/output sockets and LED indication, with a cable locking system in the box.
Flexible Mounting
The HotSwap MBP mounts horizontally or vertically in a 19-inch rack (1U), and Eaton also lists wall mounting or mounting on Eaton 9PX/SX UPSs. A rack-mounting kit and the connection cable to the UPS are included.

Eaton's Singapore price list offers the MBP3KI with the Eaton 5PX range. Eaton describes the HotSwap MBP family as compatible with Eaton UPSs and UPSs from other suppliers, with the range covering UPSs up to 11 kVA; this model is rated 3000 VA, so size it to a UPS of 3000 VA or less. Software
The HotSwap MBP is a passive bypass with no communication interface or software. Monitoring stays with your UPS and its network card.
Outlets
6 x IEC C13 and 1 x IEC C19 outputs with an IEC C20 input. Equipment with a BS 1363 (Type G) plug needs an IEC lead or an IEC-input power strip.
