10 kW Online Protection Built for Long Runtime
The Eaton DXRT10KIXL-AP is the XL (long-backup) version of Eaton's 10 kVA / 10 kW DX-RT online double-conversion UPS. XL models carry no internal battery, so you connect an external battery string sized to the runtime you need, making it a good fit for Singapore comms rooms, CCTV, telecom, medical and banking equipment that must ride through long outages.
Unity Power Factor and Wide Input Range
Output power factor is 1, so the full 10 kW is usable. The input accepts 110–275 VAC and 40–70 Hz, with input power factor ≥0.995 and THDi below 3%, and output THDv is under 1%. Output voltage is selectable at 208 / 220 / 230 / 240 VAC (220 V default).
Double-conversion efficiency is up to 95%, rising to 98% in ECO mode.
Flexible Battery Configuration
The DC bus is adjustable to 192 / 204 / 216 / 228 / 240 VDC with 20 VRLA batteries as the reference configuration, and the charger is adjustable from 0 to 12 A (4 A default) so larger battery banks recharge in a sensible time. Tell us the load and backup time and we will size the battery bank and cabinet.
Rack or Tower, Parallel-Ready
The DX-RT is rack/tower convertible, supports up to 3 units in parallel, and has a graphical LCD plus USB, RS232, EPO, dry contacts and a card slot for Eaton Network-M3, INDGW-M2 or Relay-MS cards. Eaton's Singapore price list notes that one set of 730-80176 rail kit is required for rack mounting.

What It Is Suited To
IT, data centre, telecom, medical and banking loads up to 10 kW that need longer runtime than an internal battery can give. Size on watts and leave headroom.
Monitoring and Shutdown
USB and RS232 are built in, with EPO and dry contacts. Add an Eaton Network-M3 card for SNMP/web monitoring and network shutdown, INDGW-M2 for industrial protocols, or Relay-MS for relay signalling.
Batteries
XL models have no internal battery. The battery bank, cabinet and DC cabling are sized per project; Eaton's price list notes additional items (battery power cable) for XL installs — ask SourceIT to confirm the full bill of materials.
