The Eaton DX-RT DXRT10KI-AP2 is a 10 kVA / 10 kW online double-conversion UPS for Singapore server rooms, data cabinets, laboratories, clinics and industrial control panels. Double conversion rebuilds a clean sine wave output continuously, so connected equipment is isolated from sags, surges, spikes and frequency drift, with zero transfer time to battery.
The unit converts between tower and rack installation, so it fits a comms-room floor today and a 19-inch rack when you consolidate.
Unity Power Factor: 10 kVA Means 10 kW
With an output power factor of 1, the full 10 kVA rating is usable as 10 kW of real power, which suits modern servers and storage with power-factor-corrected supplies.
The wide 110–275 VAC input window and 40–70 Hz input frequency range keep the UPS off battery through most utility disturbances and generator changeovers.
95% Online Efficiency, 98% in ECO Mode
Eaton rates the DX-RT at 95% efficiency in double-conversion mode and 98% in ECO mode, reducing heat load and running costs. Input power factor of 0.995 or better with under 3% current distortion makes it generator and wiring friendly.
Built-in Maintenance Bypass, Parallel-Ready and Network Manageable
A built-in maintenance bypass switch keeps the load powered from mains while the UPS is serviced. Up to 3 units can be paralleled for capacity or redundancy. USB, RS232, EPO and dry contacts are standard, and the card slot takes Eaton Network-M3 or Relay-MS cards for SNMP/web monitoring and automatic shutdown with Eaton IPM.

What It Is Suited To
The DXRT10KI-AP2 suits multiple server racks, storage, telecom and CCTV head-ends, lab instruments and industrial or medical controls up to 10 kW. Keep the total continuous load under 10 kW with headroom for inrush and growth.
Monitoring and Shutdown
Use USB or RS232 for a single host, or fit an Eaton Network-M3 card for SNMP, web and email alerts and orderly multi-server or virtualised (VMware, Hyper-V) shutdown through Eaton Intelligent Power Manager. Relay-MS provides dry-contact signalling to building management systems.

What is the difference between the Ki and KiXL models?
The DXRT10KI-AP2 is the standard model with internal batteries. The XL (long-backup) model is intended for external battery modules and has a higher charger current (up to 12 A) for extended runtime.
How long will it run on battery?
Eaton publishes 2 minutes at full load and 8 minutes at 50% load. Runtime depends on actual load, battery age and temperature; send us your load in kW and we will estimate it or propose an XL configuration.
Can it be rack-mounted?
Yes. The DX-RT is convertible between tower and rack; the rack rail kit is an optional accessory.
Does it support network monitoring?
Yes. Fit an Eaton Network-M3 card in the card slot for SNMP/web monitoring and automatic shutdown via Eaton IPM.
What warranty do I get?
3 years on the UPS and internal battery, supplied by SourceIT with local Singapore support and a GST invoice.
