Power Redundancy for Single-Corded Equipment
The Eaton EATS16 is a 16 A, 1U rack automatic transfer switch (ATS) that feeds equipment from two independent power sources. If the primary source fails, the ATS transfers the load to the secondary source, so single-corded switches, firewalls, routers and servers in Singapore data cabinets gain source redundancy without buying dual power supplies.
Typical set-ups connect one input to a UPS and the other to a second UPS or utility feed, keeping the load up through a UPS fault or maintenance.
3.84 kW Capacity in a Compact 1U Chassis
The EATS16 is rated 16 A at 200–240 V single-phase, for up to 3.84 kW, with two C20 inputs on 2 m cords. Output is on 8 IEC C13 and 1 IEC C19 outlets, all earthed, and the unit mounts horizontally in a standard 19-inch rack.
Simple, Unmanaged Operation
The EATS16 is the non-network version: no SNMP, Ethernet or serial interface and no outlet switching, which keeps it simple for cabinets that do not need remote monitoring. For network management, see the EATS16N.

What It Is Suited To
Single-corded network switches, firewalls, routers, KVMs and servers that need redundant power, up to 16 A / 3.84 kW total across both sources.
Power Sources
Connect each C20 input to a separate source (for example two UPS units, or a UPS plus utility) rated for 16 A. The upstream outlets need to be C19 or have suitable adapters.
Software
The EATS16 has no network or serial interface. If you need remote monitoring, SNMP traps or metering, choose the EATS16N.
