Power Redundancy Without Buying Redundant Power Supplies
The Eaton EATS16N is a 16 A, 1U rack automatic transfer switch that feeds IT equipment from two independent sources and seamlessly switches from one to the other if the active source fails. Eaton positions it as an alternative to expensive redundant power supplies from networking vendors, giving single-corded switches, firewalls and servers in Singapore data cabinets source redundancy.
Network Management and Local Metering
The "N" (Netpack) version adds an Ethernet interface with SNMP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL, Telnet, FTP, SMTP, DNS, DHCP, LDAP and RADIUS support, so you can monitor the ATS remotely, receive email alerts and integrate it with your NMS. An LCD with metering, LED indication and an ampere meter give local status and basic configuration, and mass configuration is supported for multi-unit roll-outs.
3.84 kW Capacity in a Compact 1U Chassis
Rated 16 A at 200–240 V single-phase for up to 3.84 kW, with two C20 inputs on 2 m cords and 8 IEC C13 plus 1 IEC C19 outlets, all earthed. It mounts horizontally in a standard 19-inch rack.
