Receiver for HDBaseT-Lite HDMI Runs
The VE802R is the receiver unit that turns an HDBaseT-Lite signal on a single Cat 5e/6/6a cable back into HDMI at the display. It is sold on its own and pairs with a compatible HDBaseT-Lite transmitter such as ATEN's VE802T or the VE1801AEUT wall-plate transmitter.
4K up to 40 m, 1080p up to 70 m
4K video reaches 35 m over Cat 5e/6 or 40 m over Cat 6a, and 1080p reaches 60 m over Cat 5e/6 or 70 m over Cat 6a. It is HDCP 2.2 compliant with 3D, Deep Color and CEC support.
Powered over HDBaseT
As a PoH powered device, the VE802R can take its power from the transmitter over the same cable, so no outlet is needed at the display. A DC jack and adapter are also provided.
Control Signals Too
Bi-directional RS-232 and IR channels run over the link, so projectors, displays and sources can be controlled from either end. The metal housing is rack-mountable.

Compatibility & Applications
What It Pairs With
A compatible ATEN HDBaseT-Lite HDMI transmitter, such as the VE802T (the matching transmitter of the VE802 kit) or the VE1801AEUT EU wall-plate transmitter. The VE802R is a receiver only.
Typical Use
Driving a ceiling projector or wall display from a source in a lectern, wall plate or equipment rack in meeting rooms, classrooms, hospitality and retail.
Selection Tip
For 4K beyond 40 m, or up to 100 m, use an HDBaseT Class A set such as the VE2812AT transmitter with VE2812PR receiver.

No. The VE802R is the receiver only. It pairs with a compatible HDBaseT-Lite transmitter such as the ATEN VE802T or VE1801AEUT.
