HDBaseT Receiver for Long 4K Runs
The VE2812PR is an HDBaseT Class A receiver that outputs HDMI at the display end of a single Cat cable run. It is the receiver only and pairs with ATEN's VE2812AT HDMI and VGA transmitter (sold separately) or the VE1812T.
4K up to 100 m, 1080p to 150 m
4K reaches 70 m over Cat 5e/6 and 100 m over Cat 6a or HDBaseT certified cable, while HDBaseT Long Reach mode carries 1080p up to 150 m. HDCP 2.2, 3D, Deep Color and CEC are supported.
Bi-Directional PoH
Locally powered, the VE2812PR can power a PoH PD transmitter such as the VE2812AT over the Cat cable, so nothing needs plugging in at the lectern. It can also be powered by a PoH PSE transmitter such as the VE1812T.
Audio De-Embedding and Control
Audio is output on HDMI, a stereo mini jack and S/PDIF coaxial, with audio EDID selection for 2-channel, 5.1-channel or automatic. Bi-directional IR and RS-232 (115200 baud) control the display and source.

What It Pairs With
ATEN lists the VE2812AT series (PoH PD transmitters, HDMI and VGA inputs) and the VE1812T (PoH PSE transmitter). The VE2812PR is a receiver only; the transmitter is sold separately.
Typical Use
Projectors and large displays in auditoriums, lecture halls, boardrooms, houses of worship and hospitality venues, with the audio fed to a separate amplifier or sound system.
Selection Tip
Pair with the VE2812AT so one power adapter at the receiver end powers both units. Use Cat 6a or HDBaseT certified cable for 4K beyond 70 m.
