HDMI at the Wall, HDBaseT to the Display
The VE1801AEUT is an HDMI HDBaseT-Lite transmitter built into an EU-style wall plate for a 1-gang junction box. Plug a laptop into the wall and its HDMI signal travels over one Cat 5e/6/6a cable to the display end.
Transmitter Only
This unit is the transmitter. It pairs with a compatible ATEN HDBaseT-Lite receiver such as the VE802R (HDMI with PoH), VE801R, VE901R or VE601R, or works with the share function of compatible receivers like the VP1421.
4K up to 40 m, Powered over HDBaseT
4K reaches 35 m over Cat 5e/6 or 40 m over certified cable, and 1080p 60–70 m. As a PoH powered device it can take power from the receiver, so no outlet is needed at the wall plate.
Control Built In
An RS-232 channel, a contact-output terminal and CEC support help automate displays and room systems. HDBaseT anti-jamming and 8 kV/15 kV ESD protection improve reliability.

What It Pairs With
ATEN lists the VE801R, VE802R, VE901R and VE601R HDBaseT-Lite receivers, and the share function works with compatible receivers such as the VP1421. A receiver is required and sold separately.

Selection Tip
Use the VE802R receiver if you want PoH between the two ends. The wall plate fits EU-style 1-gang boxes; confirm your back box before ordering.
